We have been privatizing government companies since the 1980s.
In fact, the 26 being privatized now have been delayed since Kibaki's regime.
Kazi ya serikali ni kuokota ushuru kutoka makampuni, sio kuendesha hayo makampuni.
Ukiangalia profit, hayo makampuni yote 26 yaliachwa nyuma na makampuni binafsi. Majority sasa hivi ni loss making.

The Kenyan government is getting ready to sell 26 companies to China, some of which are very key assets, in order to meet this year's budgets. While they say it is to help bring the government spending down, some of the companies for sale are major national assets and big money makers.. I smell a rat...from china!
