Picha hii ilipigwa mwaka 1994 huko nchin Sudan. Alikuwa mtoto mdogo asiye jiweza baada ya kukukosa lishe bora. Alikuwa akijikokota kuelekea katika sehemu ambayo walikuwa wanatoa msaada wa chakula, huku nyuma yake akinyemelewa na ndege ambaye upenda mizoga anayejulikana kwa jina la Tai ambaye naye alikuwa akitaka kumla.

Inasadikika mpigaji picha ilimchukua ziada ya dk 20 kupiga picha na kuipata aipendayo kuliko kutoa msaada kwa mtoto huyo. Kijana huyo alikufa muda mchache baada ya kupigwa picha hii na haikujulikana kama aliliwa na huyo ndege au la!! Watoto wengi wa Afrika wanakufa kwa kukosa lishe bora.

Death

On 27 July 1994 Carter drove his way to the Braamfonte near the Field and Study Centre, an area where he used to play as a child, and took his own life by taping one end of a hose to his pickup trucks exhaust pipe and running the other end to the driver's side window. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning, aged 33. Portions of Carter's suicide note read:

"I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners ... I have gone to join Ken if I am that lucky."

The photographer (Kevin Carter) did not help the child and left the child to die, he later committed suicide himself.

the photo was taken in somalia during the 90s, the lad was crawling towards a UN food supplying camp while the vulture was waiting for him to die so the it could get its meal.

the photographer committed suicide few months after the incidence because the memory disturbed him/her very much and couldn't live with such a disturbing memory in his/her head.

the photo won the Pulitzer prize!!!!!!!!!:sad:

The vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat him. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who
