Because it is backhanded. Now how does one take backhanded eminent condescending criticism that cannot be categorized as either constructive or malicious?

On the one hand it is criticism regardless, on the other it is at least making the attempt to appear as eminent, on one hand it is backhanded, on the other it is insultingly condescending. Where is a one handed writer when you need one, 🙂

One is challenged into a dilemma on whether to laugh or cry. I told you nothing is simple, lol!

On the possible long winded nature of my diction and delivery,the problem, I tend to think, is that the other end of the spectrum (from long winded) is Dan Brown cryptic. I'd rather be accused of being longwinded (providing more explanation than necessary) than being cryptic.
