Mabwana zao wanatandikwa kila kukicha sasa wawapeleke hao wawanawake zao.
"Strategy" yao imesha buma kabla haijaanza.

Terrorism war ni Habari nyingine
It is good for us (Kenya) to have these specialized squads swat (AP), RDU(AP), Recce (gsu), though I fear our police is becoming too militarized like the american police. It is only a matter of time before we start seeing military equipment being transferred to the various police units. Kibaki once wanted to offer jet fighters to the AP. Below is how the Recce and RDU look like, they are more of a military than the police.

Thanks for the correction. I have actually confirmed that the weapon of choice for Recce and RDU is the M16 rifle. The service weapon of RECCE is the high-performance 5.56mm caliber M16 assault rifle which is the United States military select-fire adaptation of the AR-15 rifle family. The rifle has been termed as among the best assault rifles used by most special forces and military across the globe . Though i still fear that our police are becoming more of warriors than guardians. I remember the police who used a baton when i was young now the baton is either and AK47 rifle, or pistols. They walk out looking like this it will instill fear in the populationThat camo is military, these are KDF spec-ops. Notice the SCAR rifle, only KDF trained and authorized to use them.
In The Whole of Africa, Only KDF Uses This Gun... It Costs More Than a Small Car
The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) have consistently been rated as one of the most powerful army in Africa. KDF has 25,000 active personnel, less than any of the major East African countries. Tanzania has 30,000 while Uganda has 45,000. Ethiopia however dwarfs everyone, with a 185,000 strong militnairobiwire.com

Actually our special units in the police are comparable to world class military units AP special warfare force can be compared to American Rangers(Trained there too), Recce compared to british sas (Trained there too and in Israel), while they carry a G3 rifle like a common thief! WOW! I told you these guys give big names to very village like stuff. Interesting thing i found is that the AP and Kenya Wildlife service are actually rapidly deployable reserves of the KDF, so the 26,000 count of KDF might be inaccurate if you count the two it may go well into 50,000+ with even more aircraft since kws operate slightly over 46 aircraftsThe kind of enemies they are forced to deal with are sophisticated maniacs who lives among us, but I agree with you, we need to improve our intelligence network to be preemptive to threats instead of instilling fear into the masses.
But they are better if you compare with Tanzania where commandos walk around with 'fea'
