I hope you are not talking about this Germany, this is Freiburg, Hauptbahnhof(Train Station).
Freiburg is a city! That's main station! U can't have that in Soga or Pugu! Same way in Germany at City outskirts no fancy stations! BTW the building behind looks like a hotel and office!

You can't even remember what you posted just five minutes ago. Let me refresh your memory. Read below, at your service my nigga. 😎 You are welcome, you can thank me later, you are far too kind.
Germany has money to build fancy stations like the one in Kenya to replace them but instead they have been choosing to update the rail everyday!

Pingli-nywee ndunga watu sindano pole pole😀😀:😀..hii kitu inawauma sana..tena sana😀😀😀
Hahaa! 😀 Sio eti kuna beef, hawa ni watani wetu, jirani zetu wapendwa. Tunaelezana ukweli tu, kama ulivyo. Mtu akicatch mafeelings aende akazipunguze kwa choo. [emoji23]

Pingli-nywee....kweli kabisa hamna beef ata...wabongo ambao wametembea kenya wanajua dhahiri kuwa bado hawafikii...lakini wanapenda sana kujilinganisha na sisi ili waridhishe nafsi zao....its psychological..

Those shanties next to 'Pugu station' represent 90% of all Tanzanian houses.
Tanzanians keeps reminding us about Kibera, but they ignore the fact that Kibera takes up like 1% of Nairobi area.

Meanwhile nearly every house in Dar and Tanzania in general looks like that.

2. What is an unplanned settlement?
4. Is there a conceptual difference between a slum and an unplanned settlement?
3. Why is it that Kibera is among the most popular slums in the world? (popularised not by Tanzanians but international entities such as the UN-Habitat)

"...Kibera Facts & Information

There are approximately 2.5 million slum dwellers in about 200 settlements in Nairobi representing 60% of the Nairobi population and occupying just 6% of the land. Kibera houses about 250,000 of these people. Kibera is the biggest slum in Africa and one of the biggest in the world...."

To end this debate, it's a fact that the Tanzanian stations have functional design, while the kenyans built theirs shiny to give a face to their stone-age SGR.

Anyone who has visited Europe, especially Scandinavia will notice that they have the same practical mindset where form follows function when designing and building infrastructure! This leads to more efficient use of resources as well as a practical and durable end product.

Why can't you just agree that you are building low quality rail system.

If you live in one of Dar es Salaam's posh areas, you should find time and visit the slums, or just any unplanned areas and experience life on the other side of the city. Saying that life there can be miserable is an understatement.

I stopped complaining about how hard life is the moment I set foot in Uswahilini recently and prayed to God to forgive me for having ever complained about difficult life.
