AIDS is an Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome meaning the immune deficiency is acquired from something, which is a retrovirus(HIV) that lowers the body immunity.
i) Acquired- means "to get from"
ii)Immunodeficiency- means " lack of immune system.
iii) Syndrome- means "medical signs"

So the reason why I say that AIDS is a combination of all diseases is this;

1. AIDS is a condition and not a disease,
2. It is through this condition(AIDS) that other diseases (opportunistic diseases) now gets into body because there is no barrier(CD4+T cells) and makes their effects known.
3. Once this diseases are now inside human being, they take effect and then eventually kill the affected.
