Kwa sasa, ni wazi kabisa kwamba Mheshimiwa Paul Makonda hana mpinzani wa kweli kwa ushawishi alionao hapa Arusha Mjini.
The undeniable truth is that the regional commissioner of Arusha possesses exceptional administrative ability and an innovative mindset, always bringing tangible development to every area he visits. The citizens, in turn, truly appreciate and respect his leadership.
My advice would be, given the outstanding work you’re doing for the people of Arusha, you’re undoubtedly worthy of taking up a position as a Member of Parliament for one of the constituencies in the city, particularly Arusha Urban. It’s time for Mrisho Gambo to step aside and let you take over in that arena.
It’s clear that there’s no tribalism in Arusha City, just like there’s none in Dar es Salaam or Mwanza (Nyamagana). There’s no need to be a Sukuma to win there. So, instead of heading back to Koromije to fight battles, why not use your smart moves and win in Arusha? The people admire you and are with you all the way.
I firmly believe you’re more than capable of handling all constituencies, but Arusha Urban would be an excellent choice. Though, I’d also encourage you to consider giving Kigamboni a shot, since the competition would be something fresh there.
