Paul Opposes Peter
Galatians 2

11When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.

12Before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles.

But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. ( why did people such as the Apostle James still believe that the law regarding food should still be applied? If Jesus came to replace the law, then why are they still following the law?)

13The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray. (so, Peter, James and Barnabas are wrong?)

14When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

15"We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' 16know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. ( why are they arguing over following the law or not? Why are they not in agreement of doctrine?)

17"If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!

18If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker.

19For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.

20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"[d]


Paul condemns all Jewish Christians including Peter and Barnabas. We only have Paul’s side of the story but Peter’s recollection of this story is not given to us in the New Testament.

Peter truly would have known Jesus better than Paul. There is dispute whether 1 Peter is a letter written by Peter and almost all scholars, ancient and modern agree that 2 Peter is not a letter written by Peter.

Acts 4:31

31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.


If Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit then why is Paul calling Peter a hypocrite for eating with the Gentiles and then when people came from James he got up. James is Jesus’ half brother, he lived and stayed with Jesus.

Why did he still think that people have to eat kosher meat? We don’t have any account of Peter’s story regarding this incident.

Barnabas is also called a hypocrite in verse 13.

Look how in verses 15 thought 17 Paul is arguing with them about the law.

That means the disciples wanted to follow the law and suggested following it. Otherwise Paul wouldn’t have mentioned it.

How could he say those things to Peter and look what Jesus said about Peter.

Sunan an-Nasa'i » The Book of Marriage

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"Sahlah bint Suhail came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'I see (displeasure) in the face of Abu Hudhaifah when Salim enters upon me.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feed him.' She said: 'How can I breast-feed him when he is a grown man?' He said: 'Don't I know that he is a grown man?' Then she came after that and said: 'By the One Who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, I have never seen anything I dislike on the face of Abu Hudhaifah after that.'"

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

Wewe unajua sana kuliko Aisha(mama yenu) aliyetamaniwa na Bedui moja ambalo Mudi alishindwa kulidhibiti akajitia ooh mpe nyonyo atakuwa sawa na mwanao.

Nielekeze kwako nije nigonge mtindi wa mkeo uwe babangu shekh, acha kunibania!!

And slay them wherever you come upon them, and expel them from where they expelled you, that is, from Mecca, and this was done after the Conquest of Mecca; sedition, their idolatry, is more grievous, more serious, than slaying, them in the Sacred Enclosure or while in a state of pilgrimage inviolability, the thing that you greatly feared. But fight them not by the Sacred Mosque, that is, in the Sacred Enclosure, until they should fight you there; then if they fight you, there, slay them, there (a variant reading drops the alif in the three verbs [sc. wa-lā taqtilūhum, hattā yaqtulūkum, fa-in qatalūkum, so that the sense is ‘slaying’ in all three, and not just ‘fighting’]) — such, killing and expulsion, is the requital of disbelievers.

They long, they wish, that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, so then you, and they, would be equal, in unbelief; therefore do not take friends from among them, associating with them, even if they should [outwardly] manifest belief, until they emigrate in the way of God, a proper emigration that would confirm their belief; then, if they turn away, and remain upon their ways, take them, as captives, and slay them wherever you find them; and do not take any of them as a patron, to associate with, or as a helper, to assist you against your enemy.

Verse 5.51
O you who believe, do not take Jews and Christians as patrons, affiliating with them or showing them affection; they are patrons of each other, being united in disbelief. Whoever amongst you affiliates with them, he is one of them, counted with them. God does not guide the folk who do wrong, by affiliating with disbelievers.

Verse 9.23
The following was revealed regarding those who refrained from emigrating because of their families and trade: O you who believe, do not take your fathers and brothers for your friends, if they prefer, if they have chosen, disbelief over belief; whoever of you takes them for friends, such are the evildoers.

Tafsir Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
Verse 9.23
(O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren) who are in Mecca from among the disbelievers (for friends) in religion (if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith) if they choose disbelief instead of faith. (Whoso of you taketh them for friends) in religion, (such are wrong-doers) disbelievers like them; it is also said that this means: O ye who believe! take not your believing fathers and brothers who are in Mecca, who had prevented you from migrating to Medina, for allies, seeking their help and assistance, if they choose to remain in the abode of disbelief, i.e. Mecca, rather than migrate to the abode of Islam, i.e. Medina. Whosoever takes them for allies harms only himself.

Kwa Taarifa yako. Jina "WAKRISTO" lilitumiwa na watu wa kale zamani hizo kama jina la kuwadhihaki wakristo kwa kumuamini Yesu Kristo. Ambapo wao hawakumkubali.
Jina hilo likaja kupata umaarufu. wakristo walipaswa kuitwa "Wana wa Ufalme."
Lakini Wakristo hajalileta Paulo kama mnavyowarubuni watu. Sometimes you have to be fair. Someni historia za kweli.

Paul Opposes Peter
Galatians 2

11When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.

12Before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles.

But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group. ( why did people such as the Apostle James still believe that the law regarding food should still be applied? If Jesus came to replace the law, then why are they still following the law?)

13The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray. (so, Peter, James and Barnabas are wrong?)

14When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

15"We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' 16know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. ( why are they arguing over following the law or not? Why are they not in agreement of doctrine?)

17"If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!

18If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker.

19For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.

20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"[d]


Paul condemns all Jewish Christians including Peter and Barnabas. We only have Paul’s side of the story but Peter’s recollection of this story is not given to us in the New Testament.

Peter truly would have known Jesus better than Paul. There is dispute whether 1 Peter is a letter written by Peter and almost all scholars, ancient and modern agree that 2 Peter is not a letter written by Peter.

Acts 4:31

31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.


If Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit then why is Paul calling Peter a hypocrite for eating with the Gentiles and then when people came from James he got up. James is Jesus’ half brother, he lived and stayed with Jesus.

Why did he still think that people have to eat kosher meat? We don’t have any account of Peter’s story regarding this incident.

Barnabas is also called a hypocrite in verse 13.

Look how in verses 15 thought 17 Paul is arguing with them about the law.

That means the disciples wanted to follow the law and suggested following it. Otherwise Paul wouldn’t have mentioned it.

How could he say those things to Peter and look what Jesus said about Peter.

Yesu alikua anakaa hadi na watoza ushuru na wenye dhambi, wakina Zakayo walibadilishwa kwasababu Yesu alikaa nao hakuwabagua. Yesu hakua mbaguzi hata leo. Thats a quality of God.


Hiyo Galatia uliyo paste hapo juu iko wazi kabisa.
Mtume Petro alikua anakaa na gentiles lakini walipokuja wayahudi akaona aibu akajitenga nao.
Ndio sababu Paulo akamlaumu kwa unafiki.
Hicho kitabu ulichokopi kimeandikwa na mtu muongo na asiyejua Lolote kuhusu Bibilia wala maisha ya wanafunzi wa Yesu. Ni mpumbavu huyo ambaye anadhani safari ya injili ilikua ya mteremko.

Kwa taarifa yako. Paulo alikua Myahudi pia. Aliyeusoma uyahudi akauishi. Alikua katika wale waliomuua mtumishi Stefano.
