'Na pesa yetu' ATCL already making massive losses... CAG report

KQ only leases brand new planes. Dreamliners.
AerCap, the largest leasing company with over 1500 planes, currently has a pending order of 30 Boeing 787s, and many more from Airbus. This is actually one of their smallest order book. They grew from 1100 planes to 1500 in about 3 years.
So get out of here with your ''they don't buy many planes once'' nonsense.

Also, the average age of their planes is 7.7 years.

You have a very stupid logic. If Dangote can afford 600 trucks at a time, then he has created a transport company bigger than most. Why would someone with so much money take it elsewhere?

Tanzania on the other hand is a poor 4th world country that requires to divert money from healthcare to buy one plane at a time.
If you have the capital to buy 600 planes, then do it.

Big airlines and those funded by oil money don't lease as often as smaller ones. But when they make an aircraft order, they buy more than 100 planes in a go.
They are already bigger than the leasing companies.

Finally, Tanzania's healthcare is comparable to Burundi and South Sudan. Lowest doctor to population ratio, lowest life expectancy, highest child mortality.
You are more than stupid, do you think Dangote is suppose to be in every aspect of the business just because he has money?. He is not suppose to involve himself in area where he has got know technical know how even if has got money.

You have said well that big airlines companies buy their own planes instead of leasing, the reason is clear, they have money. Tanzania we have money that's why we pay for our SGR $3.9B, Rufiji dam $3B, Planes $800M. Show me any project in Kenya above $1B which has been paid by your Government.

Kenyans are flocking to Tanzania for medical care, show me your Hospital in Kenya which do Open heart surgeries to 100 patients per year, Show me any Kenyan public hospital with lenear accelerator machines for cancer treatment. Tanzania we have the best cancer, Heart and Orthopedic Hospitals in Subsahara Africa, out of South Africa.

Didn’t we beg from Standard chartered bank for financing SGR?
Are you sure all these capital infrastructure projects will be 100% funded by our own monies????

That’s not true!
Having your own premises/equipment IN ANY BUSINESS may add unwanted operational costs and risks.
That’s why sourcing or leasing is the best option if you want to maximize profits
That’s why Uber don’t own vehicles
That’s why AirBnB don’t own hotel rooms
Hahahahaha, who told you that UBER is leasing car?, go back and learn how UBER works. KLM, EMIRATE, TURKEY, QATAR, BA, LUFTANSA, SAA, ET. Out of these Airlines, please tell me which one operates on lease more than 20% of their planes.

Who told you that UBER is leasing car, try to find out how UBER works

You are missing the point here! I was responding to a fella who claimed that any business must own its own equipment or premises.
That’s why I pointed out whether Uber owns any vehicles
Ndio shida ya kukurupuka na kudandia hoja like Job Ndungai did.
Go back to the thread and grasp what I meant to convey

Leased from a 4th world government that can only afford to buy 1 plane a year after diverting health money.
KQ leases from for-profit companies with hundreds or thousands of planes.
Have you ever seen such a picture of desperation in Tz?👇👇👇
Tz is a richly endoewed and you cant see such kind of nonsence in the quest for new planes

Hahahahaha, please if you don't have any evidence stop talking lies, don't you follow Parliament debate opposition MPs are complaining because Magufuli took money from Treasury without approve from Parliament to buy those planes?, prove that money was taken from Standard Chartered.

Ninaanza kujibu kuhusu UBER.
