Look what he said after receiving that honor,

Zidane: "I worked hard to improve that, but everything was in my head. Playing by instinct has always been my quality. I saw things shortly before others did. Faster than the defender understood them anyway."

"I loved creating goals, being there, close to the area. It was my thing. I liked creating goals better than scoring myself."

" I was able to see things before other players"

"I've met people who compared me a bit to [Alfredo] Di Stefano, saying I had almost the same style technically with the ball. But everyone lives in his time, with the rhythm of his time. And today it [the game] goes even faster. But I think I would manage."

Former Real Madrid President Ramón Calderón :

"Cristiano Ronaldo was going to come in 2008-09 and we were just about to do the deal when he phoned me & I was in Bogota when Cristiano called to say ‘I'm sorry President, but I cant come this year. I've a commitment with Sir Alex & professionally he's like a father too"

Cristiano said ' I really appreciate what the fans & Real Madrid are doing for me, but don't worry I'll go next year'

" So that's what happened. Cristiano negotiated to leave MUFC for €80m & we signed a deal in December when MU said its ok for RM."

"It was funny, I don't know why but Ferguson is a bit obsessed with Real Madrid. He doesnt like us very much, I have to say that."

"Sir Alex then said no, Cristiano is not going to leave for Real Madrid & they offered the player to Barca, among other clubs."

"Barca said that's okay & we're prepared to pay what MU are asking for Cristiano. But the important thing was Cristiano he said straight NO!"

"Cristiano said 'ITS Real Madrid OR NOTHING' & that was perfect, so I'm very proud that he came, scoring & how he's behaving."

"Cristiano is an example for anyone, for kids and their mates, although I have to say I don't want to take any credit for it myself."

"I was there at the time when Cristiano's signing was done & anyone would have done the same as you can't lose an opportunity like that."

First training session of the week

Arbeloa, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrão, Jesé and Pacheco worked on the pitch.

With 14 players away on international duty, the remaining members of the squad returned to work. Arbeloa, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrão, Jesé and Pacheco trained on pitch 3 in Ciudad Real Madrid. Carvajal and Illarra worked in the indoor facilities.

The six players Ancelotti had available on the pitch did warm-up and muscle-strengthening exercises before turning to ball work. They performed one and two-touch possession drills to practice circulating the ball quickly. Following that, Pacheco carried out specific work while the outfield players completed demanding passing and ball-control circuits.

Gulliem Balague (A jounarist) says without any evidence how Cristiano Ronaldo has nicknamed Messi - 'Motherf**cker'.

If you can't prove it why bother say it? He just want to increase his popularity among the newspaper there's nothing more than this!

New low of journalism. Getting jealous of Ronaldo's success and creating fake stories about him to damage his reputation before ballon d'or. It might be Barcelona's board who is behind this all BullS*it..

Guillem Balague(the journalist who has accused ronaldo for calling messi a M**F**r) has wrote a book for MESSI, he also wrote a book for Guardiola as well.

News is circulating that I allegedly made offending remarks regarding Lionel Messi. This is absolutely false and I have assured my lawyer takes action to sue those responsible. I have the utmost respect for all my professional colleagues, and Messi is obviously no exception.

Another UCL? "It would be amazing. Of course it can be done; we have the quality and the motivation that's needed

Cristiano? He is always looking to improve, he's the first one to arrive at the Valdebebas for recovery after an away game, he is the role model for us.
