Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti — Will he stay or will he go?

Carlo Ancelotti has been banned from the dugout for Real Madrid’s final two La Liga games of the season, and the end of his 2014-15 campaign may just signify the end of his time in the Spanish capital altogether.

Ancelotti, who’s been at Real Madrid for two seasons now, was given the two-match ban before Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League semifinalsecond leg against Juventus, which knocked Los Blancos out of the competition and ended their hopes of defending last year’s European title.

Ancelotti’s post-game quotes were innocuous enough, as to be expected.

Until he got to the topic of his employment, whether or not he would be back at the Bernabeu next season.

Ancelotti, on his future, via Goal.com:

“I don’t know, we have 15 days to work for two games. Then we close out the season and, after that, we can talk to the club. Today, speaking about the future doesn’t matter. We have to finish the season as best as possible.”
…
“Who failed, it’s hard to say. The team did everything we had to do. We attacked a lot and had chances to score the second. If we have to blame something it was our intensity in the first match in Turin.
“Football is about small details. Last year we won thanks to a goal in the last minute and everyone said it was luck. In this round we have not had much luck. Overall I’m proud of these players.”

If we’re honest with ourselves, for just a moment, “right” or “wrong,” we all know Ancelotti is gone after — if not before — the season is over. That’s the way the modern game works, even though he won the Champions League 12 months ago.

The power lies with the players these days, and following a defeat in a tie Real “should have” won, in their minds, the player’s belief in the manager is gone. No club in the world is more guilty of this vicious cycle than Real Madrid.

Manchester City, your new manager’s name should be Ancelotti, Carlo.

Yaani you have treble to look forward to, but here you're concerned about our problems. But i understand we are that relevant to you.
your problems are our problems, putting one over a proper(not the current)Madrid team is the hallmark of true champions-we always want la liga to go down to the wire-a poor Madrid team in there to make up the numbers is not to our taste- we can only hit the bookies hard when Madrid are on fire. The current situation denies us of this divine right

Mbili za kwanza zilikuwa ni kutoa mikosi tuliyokuwa nayo for a while, na kurudisha confidence na heshima. Walichotufanya Dortmund kilikuwa ni aibu, ila tulichofanya this time around ni so disappointing.

Things as they stand, the only thing that Real may possibly win in the year 2015 is la Liga. And they hardly stand a chance there. Barça are currently leading by four points, with just two games to go. This weekend, Ancelotti's men might wave goodbye to the last of their lost causes, confirming that in just five months they have turned 2015 from another year of plenitude to their annus horribilis.

I hope lesson learned, we started the season confortably lakini tumeshindwa kuendelea kushinda kwasababu hakuna wachezaji wa kuchukua nafasi za majeruhi.
