First thing you gotta understand about rap/hip-hop, a lot of it is just exaggerated showbiz. Rappers claiming they slanged shouldn't faze you, cos they was never really about all of that. Even in Tz, we have cats selling weed and some low scale coke n sh!t, but they really ain't sh!t. These rappers were slangin' to their friends, and people around blocks they lived; the type if ever get caught by the cops, they're turned rats to catch the big boys.
Think about it; if 50 Cent had the drug money, why did he need Eminem and Dr Dre to sign him and his boys? If Death Row had that drug money, why did they need Jimmy Iovine to cut them checks for their artists?? Why didn't they inject their money into their music production?? Every one of these labels got mama companies owned by whites who sign their checks. If a nobody like Bobby Shmurda could be convicted off sh!t he said in just 1 song, what woulda happened to 50 Cent or Rick Ross if sh!t they say were true??
