Hiyo TICTS ni private company yaku handle containers not government owned. The government has it own Berths to handle containers on the same port.

This total total number of containers handled by TICTS you are talking about and not TPA. TICTS only handles 70% of containers at Dar port.

Dar es Salaam. Transit cargo passing through the Dar es Salaam port increased by 35.3 per cent last year compared to the previous year, a statement by the Tanzania International Container Terminal Services (Ticts) issued on Thursday said.
