ila hii ya uzito wa mzigo kwamba SGR ya Tanzania itabeba tani milioni 18 mbona tunaambiwa ya Tanzania pia itakuwa na uwezo wa tani milini 35 kwa mwaka? Ukweli ni upi hapa, wataalamu twambieni bila ushabiki kabisa.
 
Kenya sgr we don't even know if the drainage was designed or you just put 2m because it is done in china.

Can you tell us Who was the civil designer for kenya sgr?
Another one of those rumours bieng spread , started by non other than Geza. inadition to the high embankment, Kenya SGR does have a drainage system from mombasa all the way to Nairobi!

hiyo ya 35m tonnes sijawahi sikia, ninayujua ni 25m tonnes....

reli zote mbili ziko na minimum na maximum. huwa hii design capacity inapigiwa formula flani ndefu ambayo inachanganya mambo kama axle load, traction force, capacity ya treni, alafu pia operating mode.... haya yote yanatumika kupiga hesabu za short term, medium term na long term needs za mizigo.... ukishapiga hayo mahesabu ndo unajua unahitaji treni ya aiana gani na ya speed gani.... Kwahivyo kwa mfano ukiona imeandikwa design capacity 18m - 25m tonnes, hii inamaanisha kuanzia short term hadi medium term, unaweza ukatumia treni ulizonazo kufikia hio 18m tonnes lakini huko mbeleni mizigo ikiwa mingi unaweza kugeuza mawili matatu + ukaongeza treni na mabehewa hadi ukafika upeer limit ya 25m tonnes p.a... lakini itawachukua mda mrefu sana kufikia hio upper limit manake wakipiga hesabu hua wameshapiga hesabu za miaka zaidi ya 30+ ijayo.


hiyo ni Design capacity ambayo ni uwezo wa reli yenyewe....
halafu sasa kuna Carrying capacity/ operating capacity ambayo ni uwezo wa treni zenyewe, yani umenunua treni ngapi kwasasa na ukichanganya zote zina uwezo wa kubeba tani ngapi kwa mwaka.... hio nayo ina mahesabu yake

Anyway, Typical tanzania way of argument.. based on rumors, heresy and not facts... last time it rained was this year, and it was the worst floods in 10 years and not one of the 472km of SGR line failed..... The incident you are talking about happened in 2016 when slop protection on parts of the sgr were not even done, the drainage too... if you go and take a look at the pictures that were taken you will see a chunk of the slop was still just bare sand with no slop protection...

if builng high emberkment was about snow railways in the whole of EU would be high above ground.. Russia has the 2nd largest rail network...and that country is half snow....but their rail is not high.


And as for the main point, your Rail is bieng designed to AREMA standards ... as as far as that is concered, its the most outdated standard of all the standards used by different countries.. Do you know how many KM of rail the Americans have built in the last 50years since you gained independence? infact, once Tz finishes building its SGR, you will have more electric rail than the US! Arema technology has not been updated in the last 70 years...
While on the otherhand, the chinese learnt how to build railways from the americans, they later took everything that Arema offeres and improved on the technology and improbed on it.... the chinese standard is actually safer, more robust and more durable than Arema... That is a scientific fact!

Kenya sgr is fake and costly and you will use all manner of words and hired imbecile to sanitise it. But it still stink like hyena corpse.

is a shoddy work! look at that red soil beside the rail track is already been eroded! Tofauti ya Mturuki na Mchina. Mturuki anajenga mifereji, culverts na madaraja kwanza, halafu tuta na communication n power cables halafu tuta then railsleepers n at last overhead electrical cables wakati Mchina anajenga reli halafu mifereji na madaraja mwisho. Halafu wajinga humu ndani wanasifu Kwa picha.
