Full automatic, up to date and cut edge communication technology, haitokaa out train zikagongana, zikikaribiana tu kila DEREVA anajua 50Km away, na watu walioko control centre wanaziona na wana uwezo wa kuzisimamisha kutokea control center.Na iyo yenu yenye inajengwa cheaply kama tarmac road, flat and cheap
You haven't answered my question. This is the update on ur debt to China!
Kenya assets risk seizure by Chinese, says Moody's
Double stacking is an old method of increasing the throughput of a railway..India is doing it on some of their tracks.. the problem is that if you try combining everything into one(electric-double-stack, cargo and passenger ) it becomes messy...
so most railway system are built with the focus being either cargo or passenger carrying in mind.. so one of them becomes secondary.
Some interesting article - Double-stack rail transport

Double stacking is an old method of increasing the throughput of a railway..
Mordern electric Railways use speed and More Axle weight to increase the throughput/ efficiency to more than what a double stack can do While maintaining the usability of the rail for passager train
Double stacking ni ushamba used mostly on diesel locomotives.
For kenya to electrify while using the same for passangers its just not worth the cost, but hey this is Jubilee..They are not very intelligent!

Where's your electrified SGR?
The 2 SGR projects - KE and TZ will be better compared when complete...BUT : -
I don't want to take you into this SGR debate but i want to know, how viable is the TZ SGR??
i know both TZ and KE are hoping that the landlocked countries - UG,RW, BUR connect to their railway for cargo transport...
In my opinion the KE SGR will still have business even if UG does not connect because of the need to transport cargo between the Capital NRBI and port city of Mombasa...but what of Tanzania??? the capital is at the port, so that is where most business is..
Also on passenger transport, the KE sgr is always full, in fact if you try booking now it's booked till end of DEC, unless you try the first-class..
If UG opts to connect to KE SGR, what is Tanzania's game plan?
No offense intended but to me the TZ railway though cheaper, to me it looks like a bigger white-elephant project.
I would like your opinion on this.. No insults please.
On Export: Tz has alot of Raw material inland Like Copper, Graphite, Gold, uranium etc and alot of Palm oil and other bulk agric raw material that can be transported to Dar in bulk for processing/ sale overseas. There is even a bagamoyo SEZ for the value addition industries. The 2 SGR projects - KE and TZ will be better compared when complete...BUT : -

We are thinking and talking the same[emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122]On Export: Tz has alot of Raw material inland Like Copper, Graphite, Gold, uranium etc and alot of Palm oil and other bulk agric raw material that can be transported to Dar in bulk for processing/ sale overseas. On Import: Tz serves RW,BR, Congo and UG. Infact, its easier for UG because TZ SGR is going to reach Mwanza port with no expense to Museveni, unlike kenya that has been harassing M7 to fund SGR to Kisumu. Kagame wants to "rule" Eastern Congo with a large dry port - Ofcourse you know Kagame still habours ambitions in congo both politicaly and economicaly
On passangers: JPM has moved Gvt services from DAR to Dodoma..Passangers will also frequent that route. The train will be cheaper than buses and faster, it will be hard to get a ticket the demand will be high.
If UG opts to connect to kenya SGR :
No loss, JPM has already bought huge Cargo boats to ferry cargo to port bell in UG. Infact they ferried cargo some 2 months ago using the old rail to mwanza then to portbell.

wap yenu hata infrastructure? Is that a train? Hivi wewe una akili timamu?
These Kenyans......hahahahahahahaha wataibiwa mpaka mwisho halaf watu huko mashinani wanakula nyasiAlright now Mombasa-Nairobi cost will be $3.8bln + 400mln! Kisa Magufuli ame-electrify his SGR 😅☝
You see that extension on the bridge pillar? That's what will hold the electric poles. Umeona Sasa? Haya, show me yours.wap yenu hata infrastructure?
What is the cost towards this diesel SGR??? This country is corrupt enough. You see that extension on the bridge pillar? That's what will hold the electric poles. Umeona Sasa? Haya, show me yours.View attachment 948111
