We all know/have heard how the ET SGR was cost effectively constructed as compared to the Kenyan SGR.
After one and a half years operation lets see how it has been doing.
1. The passenger train has transported 167,722 pax 😱 🤣😱 and 1,248 freight trains .
2. 1 derailment(cargo train)
3. Numerous small accidents involving animals(mostly) on level crossings.
4. Capacity 11million tonnes/year. Achieved so far 1.7million tonnes.
5. Inconsistent power supply. trains have stalled for upto 8hrs on the line.
7. Theft of railway infrastructure. this is just unbelievable! unless this is just plain sabotage.
8. Max speed currently at 60kph.
