The enemy is trying to break through into our territory around the clock, Apty Alaudinov said


MOSCOW, August 17. /TASS/. Russian troops are suppressing Ukrainian breakthrough attempts in the Kursk area around the clock, Deputy Chief of the Russian Armed Forces’ Main Military-Political Department, Akhmat Special Forces Commander Major General Apty Alaudinov said.

"Our situation is completely under control. The enemy is trying to break through into our territory around the clock. All these attempts end with the elimination of the enemy and the burning of the equipment. That is why we are destroying the enemy's reserves," he told TASS.

Hii ni furaha ilioje kwa jeshi la Urusi.

MOSCOW, August 17. /TASS/. In the Kursk direction, the Russian armed forces destroyed five combat armored vehicles of the Ukrainian armed forces, five pickups, a mine-clearing robot drone, and a tank over the past day, said Major-General Apty Alaudinov.

"We had a very busy and difficult day. Heavy fighting was going on all day from early morning. The enemy was throwing all possible and impossible forces in our direction. <...> Today, it turns out, we have destroyed five armored combat vehicles, five pickups, one mine-clearing drone, two trucks and one tank. <...> We destroyed everything that came to our hands today," he said in a video published on the Telegram channel.

Alaudinov noted that in the Kursk direction the enemy "is throwing all the forces and means that it has."

"Basically, we are happy about this, because where we are, we are confident - so, let the enemy gather everything, as he is planning already. <...> God is on our side. He will not let us lose. We will completely destroy all the enemy’s reserves," he concluded.

Ukraine Loses Up to 300 Soldiers, 31 Vehicles in Kursk Region Over Past Day

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian military destroyed up to 300 Ukrainian militants, 31 armored vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, and three armored personnel carriers in the border areas of Russia's Kursk Region over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
The operation to eliminate the Ukrainian units is underway, the statement stressed.
"Over the past 24 hours, the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 300 soldiers, 31 armored vehicles, including three tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored personnel carriers, 25 armored combat vehicles, as well as eight vehicles, an IRIS-T air defense missile launcher, a field artillery gun and an electronic warfare station," the ministry said in a statement.
For example, Ukrainian military lost one tank and 11 armored vehicles as a result of the strikes carried out by the Russian air forces in the Kursk border area, the statement said.

Since the fighting started in the Kursk Region, the Ukrainian military lost up to 3,160 soldiers, 44 tanks, 43 armored personnel carriers, 24 infantry fighting vehicles, 244 armored combat vehicles, 111 vehicles, five anti-aircraft missile systems, six multiple launch rocket launchers, including three HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, 24 field artillery guns and four electronic warfare stations, the statement read.
