Haya madini ni malighafi tosha kwenye sekta za ulinzi, teknolojia za hali ya juu, masuala ya anga (aerospace) na nishati ya kijani green energy au renewable energy kwa mfano umeme unotumia umeme wa jua. Pia hutumia mafuta ya biodiesel na ethanol zinotumika kwenye magari na sekta ya usafiri.

Hivyo ripoti hiyo ikashauri kuwa uwezo wa Ukraine kuzalisha madini haya kutasaidia nchi nyingi za Ulaya kujitegemea kwenye masuala ya nishati na kuondokana na utegemezi kwa nchi kama Russia, China na Iran.

Lakini yaonekana wazi kuwa Marekani (CIA) walidaka hiyo idea na ndo wakawahi kwa kumkamata Zele ili aifanye Ukraine iwe koloni la Marekani.

Kwa kuwa Putin nae kashachukua maeneo mengi ya madini ambayo ni zaidi ya yale yaloyoko Ukraine ilobakia bado EU/NATO wana shaka juu ya malengo yao ya kuigawa Russia vipande ili kuwahi madini kuvurugwa.

Hapo ni dhahiri kuwa NATO wameliwa kichwa na only option walo nayo ni kuendeleza vita na Russia ili kujaribu kuchukua maeneo mengine lakini kwa msaada wa Marekani.

Putin thanks FSB for actions behind enemy lines, on line of engagement

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his gratitude to the officers of the Federal Security Service (FSB) who work behind enemy lines and on the front lines.

"I would like to thank you, dear comrades, the entire personnel of the Russian Federal Security Service for your professionalism, determination, and selflessness. Special words of gratitude go to those who, during the special military operation, worked behind enemy lines, on the front lines, in difficult conditions, protecting the safety for our people in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions," Putin said, speaking at the meeting of the FSB board.

He also praised the bravery of the FSB border troops, who "took the brunt of the superior enemy armed formations in the border areas."

Russian troops strike Ukrainian command post in Konstantinovka in Donetsk region

MELITOPOL, February 27. /TASS/. Russian troops delivered a bomb strike on a Ukrainian command post in Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), eliminating over 10 communications specialists, Chairman of Russia’s Civic Chamber Commission for Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Veteran Support Vladimir Rogov told TASS on Thursday.

"In the town of Konstantinovka in the DPR, Russian troops delivered a strike by several FAB bombs on the territory of the Konti confectionary that had long been used as a military facility where the command post of the 101st separate guard brigade of Ukraine’s General Staff was located. The strike eliminated at least 10 highly qualified specialists servicing secure communications channels and a senior officer of the General Staff’s guard service," the politician said.

The strike will impair command and control of Ukrainian army units in the region, he specified.

"The strike has destroyed a large amount of equipment that provided secure communications channels for the command staff and they have been disrupted in the larger part of the Donbass region. The communications infrastructure and several server nodes cannot be restored. This will impair coordination of the Ukrainian army’s operations, the timely issuance of orders and their delivery to the personnel," he explained.

Foreign intelligence activity increased during special military operation — Putin

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. The activity of foreign intelligence services has intensified during the special military operation, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting of the FSB board.

"Counterintelligence agencies are facing significant challenges. Regular reports and analyses indicate that the operations of foreign intelligence services have increased throughout the course of the special military operation," he said.

Putin emphasized the need to substantially enhance counterintelligence measures to safeguard sensitive information of military and strategic importance. This includes data related to public and military administration, the development of advanced weapons systems, and cutting-edge technologies across various industries.

Russian army repulsing all Ukrainian counterattacks near Volchansk in Kharkov Region.

KURSK, February 27. /TASS/. Russian troops are repulsing all Ukrainian army counterattacks near Volchansk in the Kharkov Region, Vitaly Ganchev, head of the regional military-civilian administration said on Thursday.

"We constantly see that the dynamics change and the front near Volchansk is not static. They [Ukrainian troops] are attempting to counterattack our positions but, as I have said, our fighters are repulsing all these counterattacks," the regional head said.

The number of Ukrainian militants in the Volchansk direction does not decrease. The Ukrainian army is deploying its reserves to that area. Combat operations in that area periodically subside and then restart again, he added.

Russian army knocks out Kiev’s forces from Burlatskoye near DPR border — politician

MELITOPOL, February 28. /TASS/. Russian troops have successfully expelled Ukrainian forces from the village of Burlatskoye, located near the administrative border of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Zaporozhye Region, according to Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the commission on sovereignty, patriotic projects, and veteran support within the Russian Civic Chamber.

"Regarding Burlatskoye: our troops have driven out Ukrainian units, and the village is now being cleared of any remaining forces," he told TASS.

Rogov highlighted that Russian units were making rapid advances along this section of the frontline. The operation to liberate the village commenced the previous day. "Reaching the administrative borders of the Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions from the DPR is a foregone conclusion. The pace of our advance will determine the timeline. I would advise against urging our troops to hasten their progress. Both we and the enemy understand that this will inevitably happen," Rogov added.

Russian forces strike Ukrainian military airfields, UAV operator training sites over day

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted roughly 310 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed a German-made Leopard tank in its area of responsibility over the past day.

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Russian forces struck Ukrainian military airfields and training sites of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) operators over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck the infrastructure of military airfields, training sites of UAV operators and massed manpower and equipment of Ukrainian armed formations in 142 areas," the ministry said in a statement.
 
President Trump has extended for a year a number of sanctions previously imposed on Russia over its attack on Ukraine, the White House said.

US President Donald Trump is reportedly set to extend sanctions on Russia for another year. A presidential document, scheduled for release on Friday, Feb. 28, states that sanctions imposed in 2014, 2018, and 2022 due to Moscow's actions "must continue in effect beyond March 6, 2025." The document emphasizes that these actions "continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States." During a recent press conference, President Trump confirmed that lifting sanctions on Russia is not currently under consideration, though he mentioned it might be possible "at some point" as part of negotiations.
 
Turkey might be open to providing soldiers for a peacekeeping force in Ukraine - Bloomberg.

There have been no official statements about this.

According to Bloomberg, President Erdogan discussed this with President Zelenskyy and Russia's foreign minister Lavrov.

"Turkey would not be part of any peacekeeping mission unless it is involved in all consultations and preparations regarding its formation," Bloomberg's sources reportedly
