Naomba nianze na declaration ya uzalendo, mimi ni mdau mkubwa wa Shirika letu la Ndege, ATCL, hivyo ukiozungumzia tatizo lolote la ATCL, unaweza kuonekana sio Mzalendo.

Siku ya Ijumaa niliongea na mdau wangu muhimu aitwae Abdul Malik Mollel mwenye Global Education Link GEL, wakala Mkuu wa vyuo vya nje Tanzania. Alikuwa na shughuli yake ya kifamilia itakayo fanyika Jumamosi, Mt. Meru Hotel.

Nikaamua kumjoin, kitu cha kwanza ni usafiri hivyo nikatembelea bookings za ATCL na Precision Air ku book a return ticket.

Nikakuta Precision Air wana offer fulani, nika book my return ticket with Precision Air, flight ya saa 9:00, kufika saa 10:00, shughuli ni saa 12:00 jioni. Reporting time ni saa 7.

Kwa vile ni Jumamosi, sio siku ya kazi, nikajua hakuna foleni, hivyo nikaamsha saa 6:00. Huwezi amini nikakutana na foleni ya ajabu njiani. Reporting time ikanikutia njiani.

Kufika Airport ni saa 8:30, check in window inafungwa 40 min before take off!, bembeleza, bembeleza na wewe!, no way!.

What is wrong hadi ndege zetu hazijai?!.

Sasa leo narudi na Precision Air, ndege yake ya ATR from JRO to Dar, it's full!. Flight time ya ATCL na Precision is almost the same, kwanini ndege yetu ya umma iruke half empty, halafu a private flight, Precision Air, ijae!. What is the Magic behind?. Hili la kurusha ndege mbili za mashirika mawili shindani on the same direction at the same times, sio kuleta hasara kwa both of them?. Kitakacho kuja kutokea in a near future, ni ATCL itabebwa, ita survive, Precision Air will just die a natural death na leaves behind ATCL kutawala a domestic market, na with no competition, hapa sasa ndipo mapembe yatachomoza na kitakacho fuata ni kilio na kusaga meno kwa Wasafiri wa Ndege wa Tanzania on domestic routes.
Ili mashirika yote mawili yajiendeshe kwa faida, kuwepo a standardized fares, kama ATC is half empty, abiria hao wakajaze Precision na abiria wa Precision Air wafaulishwe kwenye ATCL, hivyo kurusha ndege moja full na kugawana mapato kuliko ndege mbili half empty wote wawili mnakula hasara!.

Bei zao ndio inawaponza. Mwanza kipindi cha Fastjet ilikuwa hadi 60K. Ila sasa hivi inafika hadi laki 4 one way. Kwenda tu.

Dawa ni waifanyie Precision Air figisu kama za Fastjet kisha wabaki wenyewe. Vile vile vitaenda tupu maana ya gharama. Tusishangae wakaanzisha Seat Levy hapo pia.

Nauli zao zikoje? Zina utofauti? Uzalendo ni nini? Njia zao za usafirishaji zinafanana? Muda wanaotumia kusafiri ukoje?

Pia naona precision amechukua njia ya KAHAMA anatua Mwanza then anaruka hadi Dar hii naona ni faida kwao, Air Tanzania wajitafakari mfumo wao wa uendeshaji biashara kuanzia gharama za ticket, Muda wa safari na mengineyo.
 
Du walao political economy, ni biashara per se. Wateja wa ndege always ni watu sensitive to time schedule. Na pia ni cost concious. Sasa shirika lolote linaloweza kuheshimu hayo mambo kwa vyovyote litapata wateja hasa regular customers. Bila kusahau usalama wao na mizigo

Shirika likishindwa kufanya hivyo always kutakuwa second best, yaani wakikosa kule ndio kwa shinho upande wake huku.

Watakujibu, Ila ninachokijua kila kampuni ina market strategy yake. Precision kwa sisi ambao hatufanyi serikalini huwa wanatuletea through travel agency package za kuridhisha including rewarding program ambako ATCL sijaona labda wanapeleka kwa mashirika yao ya umma. Kingine ni hiyo unaweza ukakuta ndege inapeleka viongozi wa serikali nyie mnawekwa Pembeni.

Mi kuna siku naenda Dodoma niko viti vya mbele kutokana na ticket yangu wakati wa ku board tukabadilishiwa siti zetu na kuwekwa nyuma bila apologies yaani I was so disappointed mpaka one of my colleague akampigia simu one of ATCL manager wanafuatia hicho kitu ndio aka apologise.
