And.....there are experts disputing that figure.......a million people (the population of Kampala or Mombasa or Mwanza) cannot possibly fit within 2.5km2 or 225ha.

mwingine ili kuwachanganya wakenya wasijue anamaanisha nini,kasema "among the fastest growing slums in east africa...watch out kibera".
kwa jinsi ninavowajua wakenya kwa kupindisha maneno,hapo kwenye fastest growing,watesema mzungu alikuwa anamainisha growing in terms of development but not poverty and poor life standards within the slums.

Yeah, there aint any slums in Dar, cos pretty much the entire place is shantytown. There isnt any particular place u can describe as a slum

Look at your "unplanned settlements". They look pretty eyesore, anywhere else they could be called be called slums!
