I'm pretty sure a good number of those on board had Nairobi as their final destination.
And they were not necessarily arriving from their home countries.

U r really stupid I didn't know u hav this shallow thinking! So u want a Tanzanian going to Addis to pass at Nairobi or a guy flying to any of the three destinations in Tanzania to go through Nairobi first! No wonder ET is transporting more Tanzanians plus tourists to Tanzania with this narrow mind that ommit a factor "convinient"!

As I said, a person who never travels thinks you can only be making a connecting flight through Nairobi.

Nairobi is a final stop for many people who travel.
A trip to Dubai. 4 days later a business meeting in Addis. Two days later, a conference in Nairobi. One week later, they return to their country.

There can be a million reasons someone can travel. But Tanzanians wouldn't know.
