To be honest wachina wamejenga majengo mazuri lakini sio reli yenye teknolojia ya kisasa. Tusikatae ukweli hata kama mchungu . Lakini Kenya wameleta changamoto kwa afrika mashariki . Pia ingekua vizuri kama afrika mashariki wangefanya integration ya railway network as same region ingeleta manufaa kwenye utalii , kilimo kwa sababu ingeleta fursa kwa nchi zote za afrika mashariki kuwa kama kitu kimoja. Vinginevyo east Africa community ni useless. Just my opinion

Bombardier backs TAZARA | TAZARA

As one of the strategies for repositioning ourselves towards boosting our haulage capacity, on 6th September 2017 in Dar es Salaam, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bombardier Transportation to explore possibilities for investment cooperation.

With access to possible international funding options to support the revitalization of TAZARA, Bombardier Transportation has offered a preliminary turnkey solution for TAZARA to increase efficiency and capacity in the areas of track, rolling stock, signalling and telecommunications.

Following the signing of the MoU, we shall now create a joint team to undertake a feasibility study that will define and agree on the scope of the partnership, after which Bombardier Transportation will submit a full technical and financial proposal for our consideration.

Shida ya Wakenya ni kuwa wao wanaona kila kitu kizuri kipo kwao, sasa hawajui kuwa Tazara ndio ilikuwa rail ya kisasa kuliko rail zote za Africa Mashariki na Kati, ndio sasa imeshuka baada ya Ethiopia na Kenya kujenga yao,
Issue ya Kenya tunawaambia, majengo yao yako vizuri sana, lakini hizo engine wamepigwa kama walivyopigwa kwenye ujenzi wa rail yenyewe,
Hizo engine tulishakiwa nazo Tanzania kama kaka REDEEMER. Alivyoziweka kwenye mwanzo wa uzi hapo juu
