Nah nah nah, stop fooling yourself. Kenyans are the most coward lot in the region. Events on the ground are plain enough for the blind to see!
KDF's capability must be questioned,it d'nt make sense they are getting support from usa and france and already deployed large ground troops in somalia, yet they cant fight al-shabaab-begging help from israel..this is weakness,
if KDF is well trained and equiped as postulated, they should not face these bummer
its prety generally known that anyone asking for backup is in state of trouble, and perhaps need urgent support
thats what KDF didnt hide ,whatever you say KDF is well equiped and whatnot, their statements prove who they are in real combat operation
That's how you have been indoctrinated by your politicians,I get your point but you are reasoning out of ignorance, for your information Kenya has deployed only 2000 solders in Somalia our main mission is not only to restore order in that war ravaged country but expel Alshabaab....The help Kenya is seeking is on Humanitarian grounds..we need donors who will provide food, shelter clothing and medical services to those people living in liberated towns..again remember Alshabaab have now changed tactics ..they are now wearing civilian clothes that's y KDF are moving with caution to minimize casualties..i hope this info will help you make better judgment in future especially when you are making a comment on one of the most well trained solders in the world and as well equipped solders in Africa-The Kenya Defense Forces.
If i may refresh your memory a little why did The USA seek help form other countries like France,Britain, turkey to topple Gadaffi and yet they are a super power!? in Afghanistan..they sought Britain help to fight the Taliban, one of the reason why Tony Blair was evicted out of office!? think! think! KDF are in a holiday in Somalia....
Nah nah nah, stop fooling yourself. Kenyans are the most coward lot in the region. Events on the ground are plain enough for the blind to see!
bro,you have long way to go-why dont you take time to read na d understand things before posting a comment here?In Afghanistan the USA sought help from the Great Britain to fight the Taliban...recently in Libya USA and so called NATO united to remove gaddafi .its common for any Nation to seek what u r calling 'backup' but Kenya is nor seeking any military backup my friend, we are only seeking political support from leading powers ,in simple terms-for you to understand- we would like the world to agree with what we are doing in Somalia that all! we do not want to be later accused that we contravened international law by illegally occupying another country..USA always invades Mexico in search of drug lords..why not Kenya! Our mission in Somalia is so clear for any std 3 kid can understand...and we have the means, skill ,will and power to achieve our goals in Somalia...something USA,Ethiopia AMISOM forces have failed to do in years.
Ha ha ha ha mmmmh! which events on the ground are you suffering to you fool?! contrary to ua thinking Kenyans are the most Courageous, talented and bravest people not just in the region, but Africa and the world at large ,we are world's conquerors and that you know!! or else you wont be spending most of your precious time peeping into our affairs to have fodder for your gossips...Museveni used to think like you...but the moment we just exhibited -just a little- our bravery..he has soon gone silent..i saw him in Nairobi jana trying to squeeze himself in our Operation Linda Nnchii in order for him to take home the 'crumbs' from the glory we have in our mission to liberate Somalia,,something he had promised to do... lakini wapi!? We have no match in this region to talk about!! our silence and perseverance should not be mistaken as cowardice!..recently we sent our Administration Police Officers in Migingo ooh panic stricken Ugandan govt started giving all kinds of statements ..but they were mere AP's!!?
We love and respect our fellow East Africans regardless of your hate ,envy and malice you people have against us....its not our fault that we are the best in everything that matter but its a result of persevering efforts plus determination that make us excell....and this is one thing we want to be replicated in every East African State..so that we can have a strong EAC. no country can survive on its own..even the USA has NAFTAA with Canada!...its this resilience that our solders have inside Somalia.....the sacrifce they have made, in leaving behind their families to risk thier precious lives for the sake of a more safer East Africa ,Tanzania included but what have you done in turn!? nothing.......whay cant Tanzania contribute solders to AMISOM?!! is this not an act of cowardice you are talking about!?..an addition to our operation in Somalia we have pledged to contribute solders to Somalia,Ethiopia has done the same...Nigeria ,Djibouti, and Sierra Leone from afar west !! have pledged to contribute!!! SURELY When will Tanzania do anything for the benefit of the EAC leave alone the region!?......The Kenyan Navy has to overwork on Indian Ocean waters to keep it safe form pirates no wonder high jackings are no more thanks to our gallant solders!!.....With all due respect, can Tanzania do anything in the interest of the region we can be proud of!? you keep on living in the past, 32yrs ago when your poorly equiped Army with some poorly trained young boys toppled a very equally poorly trained, equiped and demorolized Iddi Amini Ugandan Army, what you fail to point out is that had Kenya not sealed its border with Uganda you would have had a rough time then, in fighting Amini and you would have lacked a case in point you keep on reffering to your so called "experience" in international warfare.....you specialize in Gosipping.....do something to prove what you are made of instead of opening your mouth about anything and everything.....We are nor interested in any war..what i would like is to see African Nations spending more in eredicating poverty, education, health and infrastructure..instead of spending our hard earned money in buying war planes, bombs and other artillery..... in doing this we only build other peoples economies esp Russia,China and USA ...at the end of it all its upon you and me to determine how our lives goona be....lets fight a fair economic war based on principles...cowards or not.
My friend Moyo, i see you just had to attack Tanzania with all your heart.
Baada ya KDF kushindwa kuichukua kismayu propaganda zimeanza kwenye vyombo vya habari huku kichinichini wakizunguka huku na huko kuomba msaada.KDF could very easily put together an armoured column and smash everything between Garissa and Kismayu. The fact that they don't behave like a dictator's army does not mean that they are militarily incapable. By this stage of their operation, Ethiopia had already lost several hundred men (and had killed several thousand Somalis, not all of them combatants) but because it's a dictatorship, they could afford to expend the lives of their men like chicken without fearing a domestic backlash. Kenya is operating in a completely different political environment. That supposedly intelligent people cannot even see this very simple thing is endlessly frustrating (although I know your stance is motivated mainly by hatred of Kenya rather than an interest in "truths" and "facts").
Where i will fault GoK is in their political planning because it's now emerging that there are several factions each hoping to benefit from Kenya's incursion and it is looking likely that once A.S falls, as they will, these factions may end up going at each other. Just the other day, one faction (a briefcase government if you've never seen one) was giving a press conference in Nairobi but Madoobe's militia are the one's on the ground which makes it easier for them to influence events. then you have prof. Gandi's faction and ASWJ (who're against Gandi) and all this before you even factor in the TFG. Managing these fractious Somalis is proving a fulltime job in itself and is partly why KDF has held off from taking Kismayu because it's likely that that's when the clan madness will resume.
Having said all the above, one of the objectives (buffer zone) has already been achieved and is now a fact on the ground. If you've been following closely, you'll have deduced that KDF is now "sanitising" the area.
Tena visingizio bila hata aibu. Kila mtu sasa anajua Kenya imeumbuka.
Migingo and Ugingo Island issues are geopolitical and a big issue all together. Kenyan military strategists and their intelligence counterparts have for a year now sought a way out without considering a military strike on Uganda owing to the fact that the F-5E cannot match sukhoi-20 mk2 fighter which Museveni is desperate to use. Instead, the NSIS proposed top-secret acquisitions of superior fighter aircraft. According to a series of defense, meetings between Kenyan air force officials, and agreed to seek which among US 35- F-15 fighter aircrafts should be delivered to cushion Kenyan against the increasing threat from her neighbors.
