Hashimu dogo is overrated, he was just a normal emcee, the good thing about him, is he was able to spit in two verbals (english and swahili) perfectly. But when it comes to skills, kawaida sana.
Mr II?? No way, huyu jamaa ashukuru tu alitoka kipindi hip hop was not over clouded with too many skilled emcees. He gat "no" flow and has wack rhymes.
Joh makini is out of the game on this ground, he is good but not like these emcees when it comes to skills. But in making hits, he is on top of the game.

Mkuu apa tunaongelea skills za hip hop emcees. Sijawadis hao marapper bu what i mean is when it comes to comparison they dont stand a chance na akina prof jay, jay mo, nikki mbishi, one, fid, afande, solo etc.
I can't put hashim dogo(nimechagua hashim cz naona ndo unampigia chapuo) on my list eti kwa sababu akina nikki wanamsifiaga, in reality most of the people who keep on overrating hashim ukiwaambia wataje ata nyimbo kumi za hashim, most of them wataishia kutaja freestyle zake na ile shadow of dark destiny ambazo huwezi kucompare ata kidogo na singles za one au nikki au fid.
Joh nimesema he is fine but he lacks conciousness in his lyrics, of which we know concious "mostly" comes with skills.

Hashim Dogo a.k.a Dogo Mwanaharamu. Jamaa aliachana na mziki na kufanya mambo wengine ya kimaisha tofauti na mziki na rapper wengi wabongo wana kili kuwa jamaa alikuwa na kipaji cha tofauti kabisa katika mziki wa HIP HOP kipindi hicho, Japo watu wengi hawamfahamu ndio maana inakuwa ngumu kuwaambia kitu kuhusu huyu jamaa wakakuelewa.

TRUE THAT I always wonder why Mr II anapewa heshima sana katika mziki huu wa HIP HOP up to now wakati kipindi chake kilisha pita kitambo sana. To be honest hata kwa STEREO hasimami kuanzia FLOW mpaka Utunzi wa mashairi!

Unajua what makes this discussion harder, ni difference in generations/era in hip hop kwa apa tanzania.
On my side naona kuna generations kama tatu apa na kila generation had/has its talented and skilled emcees.
Kuna ile generation ya mwanzo( -1999 )kabisa ya akina kwanza unit, WWA, hard blasters(baadae prof jay aliingia kwenye hii crew), kikosi cha mizinga ( akina hashim dogo wakiwemo humo), balozi, de-plow-mats (akina saigon, stiggo, storm-armour shamte etc), sugu etc. Hii era walikuwa skilled, concious and mostly walichana kwa kiingereza( walikuwa wanyamwezi sanaaa)
Generation ya pili(2000 - 2005) ndo akina prof jay(when he started his solo career), jay mo, afande sele, nature, solo thang, fid ( as a late comer on this era), akina east coast team etc. Hii era ilikuwa some how concious, skilled, storytallers, walikuwa na flow nzuri and walipata nguvu kwa kurap in swahili.
Generation ya tatu(2006 -) ndo akina fid (as early comer in this era), chid, langa, joh makini, tamadun music ( akina nikki, stereao baada ya kutoka lunduno, illmatix ). Hii era ndo ina watu wana flow nzuri, very high skills, wanajua mambo mengi, watu wanachana kwa lugha zaidi ya moja(of course ICT inawasaidia sana). And to be honest, kwa upande wangu lunduno na mexicana walibadilisha upepo mzima wa hip hop tanzania. Apa ndo tulipoanza kuona flow kali za kuvutia (simaanishi kuwa zamani flow zilikuwa mbaya, dont get me wrong), skilled lyrics and rhymes.
Sasa tunapofanya comparison lazima tujua pia nyakati za hawa emcees. Leo hii siwezi kulinganisha hashim na one au fid afu niseme hashim mkali, huo utakua na uongo.
NB. Prof jay is exceptional, he has his own ground.
