You are too emotional my friend, i haven`t seen the so called Greeks who financed our SGR! Can you bring even a shredded piece of paper to prove your claims?

Na kwa hiyo short distance ya express way nani atakuwa tayari kuilipia wakati anaweza tumia hiyo commuter rail for a long distance and cheaper price?
I am not emotional because I don't have nany reason to be. You were dismissing the importance of building an elevated expressway while upgrading the commuter rail at the same time. You have now shifted your argument and saying that the expressway will block the view of buildings! What a stupid argument! Haven't you seen elevated roads as high as five stories?? What are such roads blocking? Tell me what view will that expressway block in Nairobi and it's impact on Nairobians. Again, your argument still doesn't hold any water.

About the viability of the project that you are so much concerned about, let me remind you that the contractor did a viability study on this project before investing his money. Do you think they would have invested all these money if they didn't know they will recoup their investment and after how long? And even if they don't, how should that be a concern to Kenya?? Remember, using the elevated expressway will be optional and no motorist will be coerced to do so. If the 30-year period elapses before the investor recoups his investment, that would be a loss on their part.

How you call a 27-kilometer expressway that runs from the airport to westlands a "short distance" is laughable. Do I need to remind you that this is an epitome of jealousy? I don't think so.

Having the expressway and the commuter rail shoulder to shoulder will give commuters a wide range to choose from. Remember that the expressway runs from the airport to westlands while the commuter rail ends at the cbd. Think about someone who has an urgent meeting in Wetlands and has just touched down at JKIA. Will he choose a comutter rail that ends at the cbd or the expressway? And just a slight reminder, the commuter rail doesn't run from the airport to wetlands. Actually, there's no railway line to any part of wetlands as I write this. Stop misleading people. The airport line runs from Syokimau to the cbd (it doesn't even reach the airport ).

About who financed your sgr, these links will be a good read to you and an eye opener. Enjoy your reading!

You are too illusional and misinformed my friend, yani kwamba muda wa deni ukipita bila hela ya mchina kurudi ndio itakuwa imekula kwao? Hahaha U`r laughable.. what do you know by the term dept trap? Haven`t you guys learn anything from your SGR debt and Msa port escalation? The Chinese are continuing to pile up these debt on your shoulder because they know how they will benefit from it. There is no loss in new world capitalism, only profit no matter it takes. Soon you will loose your sovereignty to the Chinese.

You are the one full off illogical baseless statements based on misinformed guesses.
Nairobi expressway is a ppp, private investment that the government has no obligation to compensate if it gets a loss. Wewe ukifungua duka, ikose kupata faida, serekali ya Tz inafaa kukulipa? It is not a loan because no money is being given to kenya as debt, understand?

It seems clear you don't know Nairobi or have never been to Nairobi. Commuter rail does not run along mombasa road but goes from syokimau to eastlands and back to town. A very different path from the expressway. From GM to Westlands to james gichuru there is no railway coverage but you assume you know Nairobi and put a railway where it doesn't exist.

Kila mtu isipokua tz citizens mesmerised by govt PR knows Tz sgr is paid by loan from banks, very expensive loans.
