In the days following the death of Muammar Gaddafi, questions have emerged regarding who, if anyone, will be held accountable for killing the former Libyan leader. Many have argued that Gaddafi should have been tried in court for his crimes, while others claim that his death from injuries avoided an 'awkward' trial.
Violent videos showing some of Gaddafi's final moments were broadcast on Thursday, yet the exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
From the Associated Press:
"The New York-based group Human Rights Watch, which viewed the bodies, said video footage, photos and other information it obtained indicate that Moammar and Muatassim Gadhafi 'might have been executed after being detained.'"
While many await a full report on Gaddafi's autopsy, one man appears ready to take the blame (or credit).
Ynet News reports that a man, self-identified as a rebel fighter named Senad el Sadik el Ureybi, confessed on camera this Sunday to killing Gaddafi. In the video below, the man explains how he helped beat and shoot Gaddafi: "We grabbed him, I hit him in the face. Some fighters wanted to take him away and that's when I shot him twice, in the head and in the chest." He shows the camera a bloodied shirt and gold ring that he claims belonged to Gaddafi.

7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to *go abroad* for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance.
8. In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a *car*, the government subsidized 50% of the price.
9. The price of *petrol* in Libya is $0.14 per liter.
10. Libya has *no external debt* and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally.
11. If a Libyan is unable to get *employment* after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan *oil sale* is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.
13. A mother who *gave birth* to a child receive US$5,000
14. 40 loaves of *bread* in Libya costs $ 0.15
15. 25% of Libyans have a *university degree*
16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest *irrigation* project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.

Toppled Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi will be buried in a secret desert grave, a National Transitional Council official said, ending a wrangle over his rotting corpse. An NTC official had told the Reuters news agency several days ago that there would be only four witnesses to the burial, and all would swear on the Koran never to reveal the location.

Calling for Ghadafi's probe? Very funny indeed. The Libyan revolutionaries wanted him dead. The West ie. US and her allies wanted him dead and he is dead. Does the manner in which he died matter any longer as long as he is dead? Why dont they also call for probe of the manner in which thousands were murdered in cold blood by Ghadafi and his evil forces? Are we saying that the life of Ghadafi is far more important than the thousands of Libyans and foreigners he killed over the years? What probe? Nonesense!

I also hope despotic African leaders like Mugabe as well as Yemen's and Syria's Presidents will do the right thing now, by honourably relinquishing power now before it is too late.

UN Resolution 1973 was and has been used as an open cheque by NATO to do whatever it wanted in Libya.
NATO first decimated the Libyan Military by bombing ALL its bases into oblivion-in "defence of the Libyan people".
African countries should be warned of the impending hegemonictendencies of the West.
And do you think the West loves the Libyan people that much?
