Tottenham must beat Swiss side Young Boys in their two-legged Champions League play-off to land a coveted place in the competition's group stages. Harry Redknapp's team avoided bigger-name sides such as Dynamo Kiev of Ukraine, Italian side Sampdoria and French outfit Auxerre.
Tottenham will play in Berne's Stade de Suiss on 17 August before hosting Young Boys at White Hart Lane on 25 August.
The Londoners have never before played in the European Champions League.
Neither club has played in the competition's group stages, although Tottenham did take part in Europe's top club competition 48 years ago - when it was known simply as the European Cup.

Young Boys got into the play-offs by beating Turkish side Fenerbahce 1-0 in Istanbul [3-2 on aggregate] in the previous round.
Last season's runners-up in the Swiss league are also well into their domestic season, which kicked off on 17 July, although they have failed to win any of their opening three games.
Spurs' only previous European meeting with Swiss opposition ended in a 9-1 aggregate win over Grasshoppers in the 1973/74 Uefa Cup.
"We'll be favourites, obviously, but we have to give Young Boys the utmost respect," Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp told the club's official website on hearing the draw.
"They beat Fenerbache in the last round and we watched the first leg on DVD. They could have won four or five, they hammered them at home. They then went away and won in Turkey and that's a fantastic result.
"There are no easy games at this level. They also have an astroturf pitch at their stadium and they play well on it, so it will be a tough game for us.
"We've got to try and get into the group stages, that would be fantastic for the club."
Young Boys sporting director Alain Baumann admitted his side had been handed the toughest possible draw.
"We are happy to play Tottenham," he said. "For Young Boys, it's a good draw but the hardest. For the spectacle, it's the best.

"We beat Fenerbahce but I think Tottenham are more difficult for us. We hope to have a little chance and this chance we will need to take.
"Tottenham is a name in the world like Liverpool or Chelsea, so for us it's big, big game."
The Young Boys squad includes an Enfield-born Spurs fan in Scott Sutter, who moved to Switzerland aged 16.
