1. Lissu atafaa kwa 2025 na sio 2020

Anaweza akawa lakini inavyo onekana yeye na Magufuli hawana tofauti kubwa sana kitabia. Wote ni arrogant na ni watu wabishi sana. Tofauti zao ziko katika uzalendo. Magufuli ni mzalendo wa damu. Yuko tayari ku sucrfyce maisha yake kwa uzalendo wake lakini Lissu sio mzalendo kabisa na yeye yuko tayari kupoteza maisha yake maadam ashinde. Kushinda binafsi ni kitu kikubwa sana. Kitendo cha kushindwa hakimpendezi Lissu. Ni mtu ambaye anataka madaraka kwa nguvu. Yuko tayari wananchi wake wapate shida maadam anapata anacho kitaka ambacho ni ushindi wake binafsi wa madaraka.

Lissu ni mtu dhaifu sana. Ni mtu ambaye hajiamini mwenyewe ukilinganisha na Magufuli mbele ya wazungu. Wazungu watakacho sema yuko tayari kukubaliana nacho maadam yeye binafsi anafaidika.

Kingine ambacho Magufuli anacho ni kupenda maendeleo. Magufuli anapenda sana Maendeleo ya nchi yake. Yuko tayari asiwe na hela mfukoni, lakini hela zake zinatumika ipasavyo katika kuleta maendeleo ya nchi yake.

Katika starehe wote wako karibu sawa. Sio watu ambao wanapenda sana party kama baadhi ya viongozi wengine kama Kikwete alivyo kuwa. Kwa hali hiyo sio watumiaji ovyo wa hela kwa faida zao.

Wote ni wachapa kazi wazuri japo kuwa hapa Magufuli amemzidi Lissu kidogo hasa tukizingatia point moja, Magufuli anapenda sana kila kitu kifanyike acuratly.

Katika ukabila Lissu ni liberal. Hana ukabila at all. Kila mtu kwake yuko sawa. Naweza sema Lisu ni mzaramo kuliko hata mzaramo mwenyewe. Ni mbongo wa Dar haswa. Magufuli kwa upande mwingine ana ukabila kidogo. Bado watu wa Kanda ya ziwa wana advantage kidogo kwake kuliko watu wa kusini mwa Tanzania. Sielewi kwa nini plan ya reli ya standard gauge na treni ya umeme isijengwe pia kusini mwa Tanzania?

Kwa hali hiyo kushinda urais itakuwa vigumu kwa Lissu. Inabidi awe mzalendo wa kweli kama Magufuli itamsaidia sana. Vinginevyo itakuwa vigumu. Magufuli katika uzalendo ameweka stage kubwa sana kwa watanzania kiasi kwamba wagombea urais wa baadaye watakuwa na shida sana.

Ni mtazamo wangu tu.

Now that Tundu Lissu has made some progress in his convalescence, it is of no surprise that he has decided to get back into the fray.

He has done several interviews with both foreign and domestic media outlets, he has penned a letter from a Nairobi hospital bed, and lastly held a presser In Nairobi right before his voyage to Belgium. I wonder if we’ll also get a ‘letter from a rehab room in Brussels or wherever he’s at in Belgium. We shall see.

Having done all that, he is also now fair game. It’s now okay to respond to him, to attack him [not physically], to criticize him, etc.

Because he has basically picked up where he left off, I’m starting to hear some folks in certain quarters float his name as a potential 2020 presidential candidate. Perhaps these folks think he has shown he has what it takes to take on the JPM in the next presidential contest. That’s fine. Nothing wrong with that. If I were him I’d probably try to parlay the notoriety I’ve gained over these past two years into something bigger, like the presidency.

But I’ve said it so many times, right here and elsewhere, that he is not a presidential material. He is, at best, a political gadfly, and maybe, at worst, a rabble-rouser.

Labda kama sielewi maana ya "presidential material" kwa maneno ya kiswahili maneno haya ya kiingereza yanaimanisha mtu "afaae kuwa rais" kama tafsiri hii ambayo sio rasmi inaakisi ukweli basi sio sahihi kusema Mhe. Tundu Lissu hafai kuwa rais wa nchi (kwa maana hata sasa yeye ni "Rais wa chama cha wanasheria wa Tanganyika"). Kuwa rais hakuna maana ya kuwa rais bora na ubora wa rais unatokana na matendo yake kukidhi matarajio ya wananchi. Hata baba wa Taifa ubora wake bado unazua mabishano makali na majadala mrefu. Ubora unatokana na ulinganisho kati ya rais wa awamu moja na nyingine.
Kwa maoni yangu, kama Dr. John Joseph Pombe Magufuli ameweza kuwa rais na inaonekana yapo maeneo ambayo anayafanya vizuri;anaye sema Mhe. Tundu Lissu hafai kuwa rais naamini hawezi kuwa sahihi. Endapo akijitokeza kugombea urais, akadhaminiwa na chama cha siasa, akapigiwa kura na wapinga kura, akatangazwa na Tume ya Uchaguzi, akaapishwa kwa mujibu wa sheria ni nini kitamzuia kuwa rais?
