Mohamed:Nyerere alikuwa mwalimu wa Kikatoliki aliyekuzwa katika makuzi ya kunyenyekea kanisa na serikali. Vilevile Nyerere alikuwa chini ya ulezi wa Father Richard Walsh, aliyempatia nafasi ya masomo Scotland. Inasemekana Father Walsh alikuwa na ëushawishi wa kutosha juu ya maisha na fikraí za Nyerere.[1]Alimlea Nyerere na akamsaidia kupata nafasi ya kusoma nje ya nchi.
Katika hali kama hii haikutarajiwa kwa Nyerere asimame kuipinga serikali. Kanisa lilimtarajia afanye kazi ya ualimu katika moja ya shule zake nchini Tanganyika
Hapo Mohamed ametumbukiza ukatoliki wa Nyerere kwanza, kisha kumwekea maneno kwa kutumia neno ''inasemekana''. Mohamed hakuwahi kumhoji Nyerere lakini alifahamu vema kuwa alikuwa mnyenyekevu wa kanisa na Serikali ili kulinda kibarua chake. Ni Mohamed huyo huyo alitueleza kuwa akiwa Makerere na Tabora Nyerere tayari alikuwa katika siasa, kwanini basi aanze kuhofia kibarua, serikali na Kanisa alipofika Dar? Maana yake ni kutaka kumshusha katika watu waliopigania uhuru kama anavyosema hapa
Mohamed:Wakati ule Nyerere hakuwa na wa ujuzi wowote katika siasa ukimlinganisha na Abdulwahid. Wakati African Association Tabora kiliposhiriki katika mgomo wa mwaka 1947 Nyerere hakujihusisha na harakati zile za wafanyakazi ingawa yeye ndiye alikuwa katibu wa chama.
Halafu akaendelea na chuki dhidi ya Nyerere na dini yake
Mohamed:Nyerere alijua yeye akiwa Mkristo, kamwe hangeweza kujijengea nguvu ya siasa katika mazingira yale ya Dar es Salaam ya miaka ya 1950 ambako siasa zilitawaliwa na Waislam. Kwa sababu hii, Nyerere alisita kukubali shauri la kuongoza TAA
Hapa Mohamed anasahau kuwa Dr Vedastus Kyaruzi aliwahi kuwa kiongozi wa TAA licha ya Ukristo wake. Amewasahau akina John Rupia, Stephen Mhando na Clement Mtamila kuwa kwa Nayakati fulani walikuwa viongozi katika mji ule ule ambao Nyerere asingeweza kuwa kiongozi kwa ukristo wake.
