Safari za mbali kwa njia ya trreni haipendelewi na wakenya wengi kwasababu ni ya polepole mno. Nairobi Railway Station iko mkabala na vituo vikuu vitatu vya mabasi zinazofanya safari za mbali kama Easy Coach, Guardian Coach na kuna station ya mabasi panaitwa Machakos Country Bus Station.
Hawa ni watu pengine wanasafiri kutoka mitaani kwenda mjini kuchukua basi hizi kwa safari za mbali.

Perhaps a little education on BRT would go along way to avoid this petty comparison of two different cities with almost totally nothing in common in terms of planning,land availability (read ownership). anyway we as Kenyans do acknowledged we have a real issue with/on how to beat traffic jams ,but as you can see we have major infrastructure like the one above and many more with sole goal of the same.
As for BRT we may need it but then again there are hindrance here and there. But anyway is it really necessary or suitable given the planning of the city?
