Don't be hard on the police. It's not their fault entirely. Public institutions and servants are operating under the instruction "kowtow or the highway!". What options do the poor guys have in this highly contorted environment?

UKUTA's orderly retreat has cheated the CCM police, hyped to maim or kill, out of their evil plan to spill innocent blood.
UKUTA's accomplishment has been as effective as a victory, sparing innocent lives but delivering their message...
The CCM police's morale is low; like vampires, they are confused and frustrated...their thirst for blood still unquenched.
Their street show, full of sound and fury, has served no useful purpose other than misuse of poor tax-payers money.
UKUTA's tactical retreat gives them a chance to wisely change parts of their strategy, now they know their enemy!
A retreating force is merely taking some time out to re-assess the stakes and so be ready for a better fight another day.

Jambo linalonishangaza sana humu JF ni usemaji wa hao milioni 6 wa CHADEMA kulinganisha na ukimya wa hao milioni 8 wa CCM. Bado sijapata jibu.

Kama mtu anakesha siku nzima kuiombea nchi yake mabaya huyo si mwenzako wala si wa kumchekia, unatafuta huruma ya wananchi ila kutwa kucha wapambe wa CDM wanakaa kuiombea mabaya serikali, kila kitu wao ni kupinga pinga, kukejeli na kutoa lugha zisizo za staha mbele ya mamlaka halali, hawa si watu wa kuwaendekeza hata kidogo.

BASIASI, UKUTA is an acronym just like CCM, CUF or CHADEMA. An acronym is a word formed from the initial letters or groups of letters of words in a set phrase or series of words and pronounced as a separate word.
UKUTA stands for Umoja wa Kupinga Udikteta Tanzania which literally means Unity to Oppose Dictatorship in Tanzania just like CCM stands for Chama cha Mapinduzi and remains CCM in English or Kiswahili.
The fact that you failed to even comprehend this tells more about you than your argument...I just don't know what happens to political sycophants like you; somewhere, somehow reason gets thrown out the window...how sad!
My friend Ibambasi, I have said it not once but many times and so I will say it again; I may have supported Chadema's efforts a number of times but please take my word, I am not a Chadema.
Now with that cleared, allow me to state here that to me, when it comes to the love of my country, political parties take second place. That's why I will not stay silent when the rule of law as envisaged in our constitution is not adhered to for whatever reason.
Abiding by the constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania is what UKUTA is all about. Dictators, the world over, have little regard for the constitution and that is where UKUTA steps in...it does not matter who started UKUTA, sooner or later something had to be done.
What Chadema does within their party does not affect me but when Magufuli disrespects the constitution, that affects us all. You might think you are safe under CCM's umbrella but that's just an illusion, a pretty short-lived illusion.
Dictators know no bounds and when they are through with the opposition, you can bet your arse you are next. By the time they come for you, there wont be anybody left to come to your rescue and you can take that to the bank.
