Heri our Upper hill is comparable to Sandton,Dar is slum kuna nini?shanties and slums tu,no high end financial districts with multinationals like Our Upper hill.

actually, in terms pf high rise projects and skyscrapers, there is nowhere in Africa that can beat Upperhill except for South Africa or North Africa...Upperhill is quickly emerging as one of the most attractive spots in the continent...especially after Montave and the Pinnacle....Sandton should watch out...
 
kwanza Dar hata haina market ya hizi vitu sijui huwa wanajenga ya nini? Grade a offices are very classy and expensive...I dont know if there is a Tanzanian company that can afford them...but you will find alot of them in Nairobi because of multinational companies like Google, Coca Cola, PwC, Microsoft and IBM....also, there are some chons companis lik Avic who only have one subsahara african office in Kenya...CGTN news network also has its Africa hq in Kenya
 
nairobi has a lot of market for grade A offices...thats why you see mega projects like the Pinnacle
 
The other thing that makes Nairobi attractive for skyscrapers is the regional aviation status it has...most tourists heading to Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania pass through Nairobi...this is around 5 million tourists per year...Dar cannot compete..the only multinational company that has set up hqs in Tanzania is Acacia mining company...it has done this because it had been stealing natural resources from LDC countries like DRC and Tz which have alot of minerals...
