But to be honest drones are the most lethal weapon in the battle field right now. How many African countries have those electronic counter measures put in place? And then even though drones don't carry air to air missiles, most drones are so small that shooting it down from the ground or even from the air is a tall order. The equipments needed to detect and counter drones are very expensive and only a bunch of countries have them. There are even some tiny drones that dive into their targets at high speed and are nearly impossible to detect. They are called harop drones from Israel that Azerbaijan used. Azerbaijan used drones from Israel and Turkey and it payed off because Armenia did not have the capability to defend against drones. Manpads are not that effective against small drones that are fast moving, and are several kilometers above the ground and some are camoflaged to look like their surrounding, that is, it may be difficult to differentiate between the drone and the clouds. We also need to move with time. Kdf also needs to acquire these drones to avoid a situation that Armenia found itself in. Armenia beat Azerbaijan like a dog in the 1990s but in 2020 Azerbaijan has returned the favour.

Leonardo has it's African headquarters in Kenya...Wana assemble drones from Kenya I know this from a guy who works there.Plus kdf has several drones for various uses eg surviallance and reconisance pia kuna fununu Kuna locally assmbled attack drones.

I have highlighted all the incidences ambazo Kenya imekuwa na issues MA majirani Zane, from Uganda to Ethiopia and even asked Ni wapi Kenya ilichokoza hao majirani ulishindwa kitu ya Kusem. Uganda inakalia ardhi ya Kenya kimabavu, Ethiopia is shooting down Kenyan aircraft and killing Kenyans in Kenyan soil. Unataka bado uambiwe ni mataifa gani wachokozi? Ama ni ubishi tu ndio kawaida yenu?

Yes. I have read an article that Kenya owns a couple of scan eagle drones used for surveillance. It is good if they start assembling drones in Kenya. But ultimately we need armed drones.

The said Turkish drones are relatively big .Infact most Attack drones are the size of jet.. armenia lost largely because of suicide drones from Israel which are relatively small and hard to defend against.

Right now we have issues with Somalia na mnasema jinsi Kenya ni taifa lisilopenda amani na majirani zake. Tukiamua kuemploy diplomacy like we do with Uganda na Ethiopia pia mnakasirika na kusema tuko na Jeshi dhaifu. War is an ugly thing and it's even stupid to wish for it. Not all issues are handled through blood and gun. Kuna mambo yanaongelewa tu na yanaisha.

It's okay to demean Kenyan army like you do coz as a person who lives in a country with its own army, there's no way utasifu za majirani hata kama wenu wanachana bunga dhidi ya wanamgambo. That's being patriotic and I totally understand you
