Why hate kenya? Is it just jealousy or real grievance?

Hawa ni watu wanaotaka kuleta uchonganishi usio na maana. Nashangaa makala hii imeruhusiwa bila hata ya utafiti mdogo tu usiohitaji hesabu.

Tanzania ilisaidia Kenya wakati wana njaa. Waziri wakati huo(Ruto????sina uhakika) alikwenda kumuona JK akiwa Maramba Tanga. JK akaruhusu kutolewa baadhi ya tani za chakula kutoka national grain reserve kwa Kenya.
Kwahiyo si kweli kuhusu madai hayo.

Pili, gesi haijaanza kuchimbwa katika kiwango cha biashara. Wanasahau kuwa ni China inayotandaza mabomba na gesi hiyo ikiwa tayari itabidi iuzwe nchi za jirani. Waziri Muhongo kasema hata umeme wa ziada itabidi uuzwe. Hakuna sababu ya kuzuia bidhaa inayohitaji wateja.

Tatu, Kenya ni mwekezaji namba 2 baada ya UK nchini Tanzania wala siyo nchi yoyote ya SADC kama anavtyosema mwandishi huyu zuzu. Kama Tanzania ingeizuia Kenya hilo lisingetokea.

Nne, kiwanja kilipoungua sijui Kenya walitaka Tanzania ifanye nini kama hawakuomba msaada. Ilikuwa ni wajibu wao kuomba msaada na sidhani hilo lilifanyika. Lakini pia lazima watu waangalie upande wa kifundi. Je, kulikuwa na facility za kutosha ku handle ndege za Kenya? Kama sivyo je kulikuwa na umuhimu wa kuhatarisha maisha ya watu kwasababu tu ya kumpendeza mkenya?

Tano, Kama Tanzania ingekuwa na chuki na Kenya basi isingetumia rasilimali zake ikiwemo gharama za viongozi kusuluhisha mzozo wa Kenya. Ilibidi waziri mkuu wa Turkey akiyekuwa aje Tanzania ziara yake iahirishwe ili JK na Mkapa waende Nairobi kuokoa roho za Wakenya. Si jirani mwingine wa EAC aliyeahi kufanya hivyo.

Sita, mwandishi anaposema Tanzania ni masikini, ni kweli lakini umasiki huo upo kwa kada gani?
Nadhani masikini wa Tanzania anaweza kuwa na nafuu kuliko masikini wa Kenya.
Westland na Karen siyo kwa mkenya ni kwa wazungu, unless uniambie 'kuosha choo cha mzungu' ni bora kuliko cha Mwafrika. Katika nchi masikini duniani kenya ipi karibia na 140 sasa hapo kuna unafuu gani?

Saba, kama watalii wanakuja na kulala Kenya hilo halina tatizo kwao. Si wana single entry visa na Rwanda?
Tanzania ni mshirika mkubwa sana wa eneo hilo , matusi yataiumiza Kenya na si Tanzania.
Tanzania haitegemei watalii waje Kenya ili waje Tanzania, ila Kenya inategemea watalii waingie kwa mgongo wa rasilimali za Tanzania. Hivyo lazima wawe waangalifu kama kumbu kumbu za kufunga mpaka zinavyoeleza huko nyuma.

Tunafahamu kuwa Kenya wanashabikia sana Tanzania ikiwa na mizozo lakini hilo haiifanyi Kenya iwe bora.
Kenya walipogombana Tanzania haikufaidika na chochote na wala sidhani Tanzania ikiwa na mizozo na nchi nyingine Kenya itafaidika. Lazima Kenya ielewe kuwa wao ni majirani wakubwa kuliko wengine na siasa za majitaka za kutaka watu wagombane ni za hovyo.

Ni lazima wasomi wa Kenya waelewe tatizo la wananchi wa kiwango cha chini na si ma tycoon wachache.

Huu ni uchochezi tu ambao mwisho wake ni Kenya kuwa Loser. Wamesahau soko lao kubwa EAC lipo wapi?

Serikali imetishia kuuchukulia hatua za kisheria, ikiwamo kuushtaki mahakamani mtandao wa Standard unaomilikiwa na Kampuni ya Magazeti ya The Standard ya nchini Kenya, kwa madai ya kuidhalilisha Tanzania kwa kuionyesha haiko makini na Shirikisho la Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki (EAC).

Kutokana na kitendo hicho, imeutaka mtandao huo wa Standard Digital News - Kenya : Home, Breaking News, Business, Jobs, Football, Travel, Tourism, Elections, National, Kenya, Nairobi, County, East Africa, Kibaki, Raila, Elections 2013, Choice 2013 kuiomba radhi Tanzania, vinginevyo, itauchukulia hatua hizo.

Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Habari (Maelezo), Assa Mwambene, alisema wako kwenye mchakato wa kuwaandikia wamiliki wa mtandao huo barua, kuwataka watekeleze suala hilo mara moja.

Mwambene alisema hayo baada ya kuitisha mkutano na waandishi wa habari kwa lengo la kujibu taarifa iliyotolewa na mtandao huo Septemba mosi, mwaka huu.

Alisema taarifa ya mtandao huo inaonyesha kwamba, Tanzania haiko makini na EAC, ikiwa ni pamoja na kukwamisha jitihada zinazofanywa na Kenya kuimarisha ushirikiano huo.

Kwa mujibu wa Mwambene, taarifa ya mtandao huo inadai kuwa jengo la Uwanja wa Ndege wa Kimataifa wa Jomo Kenyatta (JKIA) lilipoungua moto mwezi uliopita, baadhi ya nchi zilizoko EAC zilisaidia kwa kuruhusu ndege kutua katika viwanja vyake, lakini Tanzania ilikataa.

Alisema mtandao huo umedai pia kuwa miaka miwili iliyopita, Kenya walipokabiliwa na baa la njaa, waliiomba Tanzania iwauzie chakula (mahindi), ikawanyima, lakini ikaiuzia Uganda.

Mwambene alisema mtandao huo pia unadai kuwa Kenya iliwahi kuiomba Tanzania iwauzie gesi kutoka Songosongo, Wilaya ya Kilwa, mkoani Lindi, kwenda Moambasa kupitia Tanga, ikakataa, lakini ikaiuzia China na kwamba serikali imelazimika kujibu kwa kuwa haijui dhima ya mtandao huo, hasa wanachotaka kukifanikisha kwa kusema uwongo.

Alisema kuhusu tatizo la kuungua kwa jengo la JKIA, baadhi ya ndege zilitua nchini, hivyo akasema kinacholengwa na mtandao huo ni kutaka kuitukana Tanzania.

Mwambene alisema ni kweli serikali iliwahi kuzuia uuzwaji wa chakula kwenye mipaka ya Tanzania na siyo Kenya peke yake.

Alisema serikali ilifikia uamuzi huo kutokana na kipindi hicho kuwapo na tatizo la chakula na kwamba, kama kuna mtu aliuza nje ya mipaka ya Tanzania, basi alifanya hivyo kwa matakwa yake na si kwa kuruhusiwa na serikali.

Kuhusu gesi, alisema uwezo wa miundombinu iliyopo nchini kwa sasa ya kusafisha na kuisafirisha gesi ni futi za ujazo milioni 105 hivyo haitoshelezi hata mahitaji ya viwanda vilivyopo jijini Dar es Salaam.

Alisema upembuzi yakinifu uliofanyika EAC wa gesi kusafirishwa Tanzania kwenda Mombasa, Kenya kupitia mkoani Tanga, lakini akasema hakuna nchi inayonunua gesi kutoka Tanzania.

It always baffles me to see how obsessed Tanzanians (not all) are with Kenya, sometimes the comments in this forum really gets to my nerves and at other time I just laugh and excuse their ignorance. Don't waste your time in this forums hating on people who don't even care about your existence, people who are working hard to feed their family during these harsh economic times, shifting blames to suit your warped view of your neighbors is not going to solve the problems in your country.

Very embarrassing,,,to see grown up behaving like toddlers.

That is why we want to give laptops,,to kids here in Kenya

The discussion would have been,,,was the link above,,by
the person who put up this thread,,,whether what was
in that link was true instead of hurling useless abusive
words,,sijui,,to Kenyans, which will and can never affect,,
anything or anybody.

But the abusive language only shows one thing,,,you

Neighbors are there to help each other and can even

There is some signs that,,the other countries of the
eastern Africa are sidelining Tanzania.

as if trying to bring down this noble idea of bring the countries

Tanzania needs Kenya the way Kenya needs them.

Tanzania refused to sell Gas to Kenya but sold it to China! When there was food scarcity in Kenya, Tanzania refused to sell maize to Kenya, saying it also faced food shortages.....but weeks later, sold the same maize to Uganda!
I have heard many stories even on individual levels : Kenyans being denied to fly from Tanzanian airports, others being denied permits to conduct businesses. Let's discuss this issue because I believe those who are doing this, putting these laws, are not doing so for the benefit of the Tanzanians. I fear, before this 4th republic of CCM is out, most of our neighbours will be our enemies!

this will actually make political sense than economic sense for TZ/CCM to refuse money and deny business permits to kenyans and even maize sales. I indeed it is true that is happening tanzanians will be discriminatory.

If a referendum was held in Tanzania as to whether the country should join EAC or SADC I can bet my balls that they would join SADC. Only the chagga people because of their proximity to Kenya and being the majority who do business in Kenya would vote otherwise. All professionals in Tanzania e.g doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists and senior government officials will tell you that Tanzania is not ready for integration. So why is everyone talking about integration all the time? Let each country decide the speed they want to move with without any harassment or complaint. If Kenya Uganda and Rwanda want to become one nation tomorrow, so be it,Tanzania will catch up when the need arises soon or later.
