Why Tanzania is not about to eclipse Kenya anytime soon

Am not on this site everyday, I have work to do. I have previously tried to engage with you guys and I wont shed off any more IQ.
sorry Livale I didn't follow the convo, anyway the 80bn mark was quoted by the EALA, several times in a discussion. That was during the pipeline deal fiasco and everyone thought Tanzania was going to overtake us. I think the problem is no one really adds up this yearly percentile growths...last year our economy was quoted to be at 73-75bn by several papers, again some were still at 67bn...with a 6% growth, that comes to around 77bn-79.4bn. I wish the govt would give official figures on a yearly basis, because every paper quotes it the way they want...

Geza Ulole, its only less than 3% of the pipo tht suffer from hunger (some of whom arent even Kenyan citizens, but refugees who enter Kenya in search of safety).
Tht 'hunger' jibe of urs is frayed, given the current efforts to alleviate the problem.

I think you have put it correctly, "not about to eclipse .... anytime soon", but it's inevitable. Some work has to be done, but conditions especially political and geographical, makes it just a matter of time before it happens.

Really, hehe. So what's Kenya's 2016 nominal GDP and if you can provide info on from which site you're quoting the figure from I'll be grateful and accept it

It's all good men, a stronger and prosperous Kenya is better for all of us. Just make sure you sort politics and corruption issues as well
