Livale I didn't follow the convo, anyway the 80bn mark was quoted by the EALA, several times in a discussion. That was during the pipeline deal fiasco and everyone thought Tanzania was going to overtake us. I think the problem is no one really adds up this yearly percentile growths...last year our economy was quoted to be at 73-75bn by several papers, again some were still at 67bn...with a 6% growth, that comes to around 77bn-79.4bn. I wish the govt would give official figures on a yearly basis, because every paper quotes it the way they want...
