Just compare the slums of middle economy country(kenya) and non middle economy nation(Tanzania).

You will see kenya is higher and also the graph is going up. While Tanzania is low and the graph going down

The statistic shows that on 2009 the population was 54.7%.
It seems that the population of citizens living in slums increases day after day by 2%

If each 5 years the population of people live in slums increases by 2%,is estimated that from 2014 to 2034 the population of people live in slums will be 70%.
