I said well over 70% of the both the substinence and commercial are produced by the Kenyan, African farmers, and if u do not believe it Visit the site. I wasnt referring to the farm hands.
From coffee, tea, fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy farming etc. Black people have been deeply involved in the production of these goods. The sector is dominated by Africans. And I hereby do not deny the existence of the europeans in the sector, but their contribution in the sector is only minor. And in marketing their products, they have to use the same avenue as used by the other Kenyan producers.

And I still do not understand why u have provided me those links, cos they are not telling me anything.

Who produces cheaply and the most. Admittedly, the large scale farmers have always had the upper hand in this.......considering their financial muscles.
But the Kenyan government, thru its Economic Stimulus Programme has been assisting these poor small scale farmers by providing them subsidized seeds, firtilizers, farm implements, drugs, education and advice.
There has been a marked improvement in the output of these farmers.

We have lost count how many times we have heard that. It begun since Nyerere abdicated from power 31years ago. The level of development in Kenya in comparison to Tanzania's, and the size of its economy is still continuing to broaden. Here u are still singing about Tanzania being different from.......I dont know which Tanzania of "yesterday".

Tanzania of today is no different from Tanzania of yester-years. Even your govt contended that well over 70% of watanzania ni wavivu!

Yes, indeed there are white farmers in Kenya, operating both the small scale and large scale
farms. But the truth remains that the majority of farmers in Kenya are Africans.

LArge scale farmers in Kenya.....they are the minority specie of farmers in Kenya. The situation u were talking about in SA and Zimbabwe are very different from the case in Kenya.
Jomo Kenyatta bought most of the hitherto white owned lands in Kenya and redistributed them (though unfairly) to the landless Africans. This was to placate the impatient Africans who wanted to have their lands back and were threatening violence.
But a huge portion of the lands went to the new black elite controlling the govt, or those closely associated with those in power. They are the large land owners in Kenya.

When Mugabe started his land grabbing stunt, I actually heard and saw on TV a European gov. minister saying "the main worry is, if this is going to spread to Kenya then will be in big trouble". Mkenya wa kawaida hana ujuzi au jinsi ya kutafuta soko au hata kujuwa ni nini wazungu wanataka. Na wazungu ni wazuri kwa kupindua pindua sheria just to keep you out of there market.
