he can hold the ball better than adebayor and face the defenders which can lead to assisting if he cant score a goal.kalou hakupata mda mwingi wa kucheza kama adebayor lakini kalou ni mchezaji mzuri kuliko adebayor.

Banfield - Boss has helped Wilshere mature

Jack Wilshere's maturity is a result of his early elevation to the first-team, according to Reserves boss Neil Banfield.

The 17-year-old burst on the scene with a string of record-breaking first-team cameos at the start of 2008/09. And, after helping the Under-18s to a League and Cup ‘double' last season, Wilshere was back with Arsène Wenger's seniors during pre-season.

He started against Barnet, and twice on the Gunners' Austrian tour, before illuminating the Emirates Cup with two goals and two Man of the Match performances against Atletico Madrid and Rangers.

Wilshere's contribution may have surprised the watching fans, media and England manager alike, but Banfield hardly raised an eyebrow.

"Jack has gone into the first-team, worked hard and now we're starting to see the sort of player we hope will be there in the end," the second string manager told Arsenal.com. "I think if you have a season working around Arsène you can't help but mature in every area.

"You can see the heightened maturity in his play and the physical development. It is all a result of the manager taking him in early. I think he [Wenger] saw something there and it has paid dividends.

"He has had a year with the first team and has learned a hell of a lot being around Arsène and his coaching staff. I think from now on we'll see the fruits of their labour."

It is less than 18 months since Banfield handed the then 16-year-old Wilshere his Reserves debut - on which he scored - in a 1-1 draw with Reading.

The second-string manager admits that Wilshere's latest exploits have made "keeping a lid" on the situation the primary objective. But in Wenger, there could be no better mentor for the 17-year-old.

"Jack will be developed and used when the manager thinks he is ready. Arsène has been doing it for years and he knows," Banfield continued.

"The lid needs to be kept on, without a doubt. But I don't think Jack could be working under a better man.

"For Jack it's another year of working, listening and taking these opportunities when they come along. Hopefully he'll have a really long career at Arsenal Football Club

Mwenyekiti wa Arsenal Peter Hill-Wood ameongea jana na amesema kwamba, Arsene Wenger ana kiasi kinachoweza kuongeza wachezaji wawili katika kikosi cha sasa.

Kwa hio walio katika pipeline ni Moruane Chamakh, Blaise Matuidi na Patrick Vieira. Ikumbukwe kwamba Vieira kwa sasa anagharimu kiasi cha £750,000 tu.

Arsene aliwaambia Bordeaux kwamba ana kiasi cha £6 na Bordeaux wakakataa.

Lakini raisi wa Bordeaux bwana Jean-Louis Triaud ametoa mwanga kwamba gentleman's agreement inaweza kufikiwa na Chamakh akasajiliwa na Arsenal mwishoni mwa wiki hii.

Na mzee Hill-Wood amesema kwamba Cesc Fabregas hatauzwa kwa AC Milan au timu ingine yoyote ile.

Inawezekana,lakini kuna kitu kingine kitaalamu inasemekana kila mtu anweza kuumia na mnaweza mkaumia wakati mmoja na jeraha lika ni aina moja na sehemu moja katika mwili.Lakini mmojawapo inatokea anawahi kupona kuliko mwingine;hii inatoka na aina ya mwili wa mtu.Nafikiri huyu Rosicky aina ya mwili wake ni wale watu ambayo miili yao ni wagumu ku-recover.

Ameshaanza Tomas Rosicky.

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky could be facing another six weeks on the sideline as his painstaking return from injury continues.

Reports on Thursday morning suggest the Czech Republic international has pulled a hamstring in training and will now miss the first month of the season.

Rosicky has been battling to return to action after 18 months out but after his latest setback, he's been told by medical staff that he will be missing until mid-September.

Arsene Wenger will now be without the midfielder for up to four Premier League matches, and the club's Champions League qualifier.

The Gunners squad looks a little thin all of a sudden after Samir Nasri broke a leg in training and Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure left for Manchester City.

Just last week Rosicky was bullish about Arsenal's chances of retaining the title. He said: "We have got plenty of options and that is why I feel we will be stronger than last season because the boss will have more options.

Asked about a comment by Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson in which he did not mention Arsenal when talking of title rivals, he said: "Football is not as predictable or scientific as some people think and sometimes people are wrong in what they say."

Wenger is interested in adding one defender and one forward to his squad, at the right price, before the transfer window closes at the end of August.

"Don't forget that most of the business is done between August 26 and 31, at midnight," he said.
