Baada ya masomo yake ya Upadre, alipata Daraja Takatifu la Upadre Julai 20 Mwaka 1997 Jimboni Bukoba, na kuhudumu katika nafasi mbalimbali za utume Jimboni Bukoba na Baraza la Maaskofu Katoliki Tanzania kama Mkurugenzi wa Mashirika ya Kipapa.
