Cancellation of Contract between the Government of Tanzania and Symbion has been blamed by US Government. Symbion is a New York-based independent power producer that develops and operates projects in several African countries and has operated in the Middle East and Asia as well.
Few weeks before the Election in Tanzania Democratic and Republican members of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Africa packed a resolution urging the government of Tanzania to respect human and economic rights. They have promised to fight against lack of respect for contracts and business operations that threaten future U.S. businesses investment and trade partnerships in Africa.
Records shows that the US Government will always find triggering factors to fight any country that doesn't favour their economic interests. Verification of Twitter accounts blackmailing Tanzania Was a Help from US Embassy.
Some anonymous accounts blackmailing Tanzanian government, have been verified and sponsored same day when US embassy joint latter with Germany embassy went viral on the internet revealing their support to opposition parties which later they claimed to be fake on their twitter account.
According to our source the request to verify those accounts were made by US embassy in Dar es Salaam one day before the election so that they can be used to support opposition propaganda without leaving a trace that they were involved.
“Ambassador asked us to list usernames of all twitter accounts including anonymous which criticize and blackmail the government which we listed and later on the same day all accounts that we listed were verified” our source said.
Despite of interfering election process all accounts listed started to post violent content, rape videos, dead bodies, and organize violence in various places in Tanzania including Zanzibar which in fact all contents they post have been originated from porn sites and violent videos from the internet.
US embassy and ambassador Donald J Wright have always been justifying posts from these twitter accounts to blackmail and make international community believe that Tanzania election was not free and fair which they actually haven’t provide any official reports to verify that as observers.
EAC reposts as one of observers from international community is saying that election was free and fair, other international communities are expected to do the same while waiting for official reports it is advised to ignore any unofficial information from social platforms including twitter.
