CONCERN: Why are all car manufacturers setting up shop in Kenya? Iko wapi Tanzania ya viwanda?

Mkuu hapa umeongea kiushabiki kidogo, Ingekuwa suala la democracy ndo kigezo, basi hivyo viwanda vyote vingekuja tz, maana kwa recent records sisi tuko juu ya Kenya!

Shida kubwa iko kwenye sera za uwekezaji, hapa ndo tunakwama, probably na heavy taxation.

TIC hawafanyi kazi yao vizuri, kwanza wamekuwa na shida tangu yule mama akatae mshahara mpya! Lakini hata kabla ya hapo huyo mama alikiwa anaendesha tic kwa remote,
Usimesikai juzi, kamchukua mkuu wa wilaya kuwa TIC manager, MTU ambaye hajua lolote kuhusu uwekezaji.
 
I can certainly say that, the EPZ terms & conditions are not suitable to attract those big investors due to the fact that they are implementing plans that they even themselves don't know what is exactly inside . Just think twice about what Nape said regarding contradiction of the concept "Tanzania ya Viwanda" , we as the nation we don't have common interpretation of that concept, so how will it be possible even for those giant investors to think about us.

EPZ please wake up... time for day dreaming is over. Convince them ,they will understand & they will invest .

Napenda kujuzwa kuna nini cha ziada ambacho hatuna sisi Tanzania kampuni zote za magari wameamua kuunda viwanda vyao nchini Kenya na sio Tanzania kwa ajili ya kuhudumia soko la ukanda wa Afrika Mashariki.

Walianza Toyota, wakaja Volkswagen, Peugeot, Ashok Leyland, Iveco now Volvo pia wametangaza jana kufungua kiwanda Mombasa.

I thought ukiwa Tanzania unaweza kuaccess soko la SADC na EAC kwa pamoja. Why are we not using that to our advantage? Tatizo liko wapi? Ni umeme, maji, business start-up procedures au tax incentives?

Ninachojua kuwa na viwanda vya kuassemble magari ni very big business ambayo sisi watanzania hatutakiwi kupuuza hata kidogo.

Nishauri tu serikali ifanye study jinsi ya kuvutia uwekezaji kwenye hii sekta ya kuassemble magari tuchangamkie before its too late. Pia kwenye textile & apparel pamoja na pharmaceuticals.

Mimi nafikiri hiyo ni changamoto kwetu yakuibua fursa yakudeal na hivyo viwanda viwekavo Kenya.Bado atujachelewa.Kwakua Kenya zinazowekwa ni assembling plants,sisi tunaweza kuwai tukatafuta wawekezaji wakuzalisha vipuli kama iron sheets,batteries nk. kisha tukawa tunawasambazia wao.Tuna malighafi nyingi sana ambazo tunaweza kuzitumia kwakushare katika uzalishaji.

Chanzo cha tatizo ni pamoja na haya:

1. Shule binafsi: Kenya walijenga shule nyingi kwa njia ya “harambee” miaka ya 70 – 80, wakati kwetu kulikuwa na katazo la kujenga shule za binafsi, na nyingi ya zilizokuwepo zilinyanganywa.

2. Mitaala: Kenya waliimarisha na kudumisha mfumo wa mitaala uliokuwepo wakati sisi tulianza elimu iliyoitwa ni ya "ujamaa na kujitegemea". Hii ilikazania zaidi kulima shuleni na kufanya mchakamchaka. Ilisimamiwa kwa dhati na Waziri Chediel Mgonja. Matokeo ya hili jaribio ni kwamba Kenya wanajitegemea wenyewe kibajeti wakati sisi hakuna ujamaa wala kujitegemea.

3. Urasimu: Kila kitu unachotafuta serikalini Tanzania kwa njia za halali huchukua muda mrefu sana. Kupata hati miliki kunachukua hata miaka 10. Kulipia tu kodi ya kiwanja lazima usote sana ofisi ya Wizara ya Ardhi. Kila hatua ni tatizo na usumbufu.

4. Udanganyifu: Watanzania wengi wamezoea udanganyifu. Hili ni zao la formation mbovu huko kwenye mashule ya serikali. Ni kitu kilichojijenga muda mrefu. Udokozi wa mali za kiwanda au hoteli ni kawaida kwa wengi. Tatizo la wingi wa wafanyakazi hewa na vyeti feki linatokana na hii tabia.

5. Mfumo mbaya wa kodi: Viwango vikubwa sana vya kodi hukimbiza wawekezaji. Tungetoza VAT ya 10% wakwepaji wangepungua na pengine tungekusanya kiasi kikubwa zaidi.

6. Miundo mbinu mibovu: Hadi leo maji, umeme, na njia za usafiri vipo katika hali mbaya sana. Utawekezaji pasipo na umeme wala maji?

Ufumbuzi:

1. Kupiga vita udanganyifu katika elimu kunakofanywa sasa na Rais kuendelee. Hili liwe zoezi endelevu.

2.Tuzidi kudumisha shule binafsi, hasa za taasisi za kidini.

3. Ujenzi unaendelea wa reli, barabara na viwanja vya ndege udumishwe. Usimamizi dhabiti bila kupepesa macho unaofanywa na Rais uwe endelevu.

4. Mfumo ulioanza wa kudhibiti wafanyakazi feki umulike pia wafanyakazi wavivu. Serikali imejaa watu wenye utamaduni wa uvivu. Timua ya Magufuli iwafikie. Safisha kote mpaka nchi inyoke.
 
Leta kiwanda chako Tanzania, baada ya miezi 5 tunataifisha mitambo yako yote na tunakunyang'anya passport usirudi kwenu. achana na tz , tunajua tunaelekea wapi!

Tatizo la nchi yenu kuna sera nyingi mnafaa kuanza kuzifanyia kazi, nilishangaa sana kwenye sakata la vyeti feki eti kwamba vigezo vya mawaziri na wakuu wa mikoa na wanasiasa ni darasa la saba, kwamba ukijua kuandika na kusoma inatosha na unaweza ukasimamia wizara nyeti.
Kauli kama hizo lazima zinatamausha wasomi kwenye nchi yenu, maana wanaishia kupewa maagizo na amri kutka kwa hao hao viongozi ambao elimu ni zero.

Back in the 90's Kenya used be the power house for motor assembly in EA, 2nd hand cars imports is what killed the industry but I can see we are slowly getting back on our feet. Welcome Volvo.

Soko la ndani ni muhimu pia, kwa nini walete kwako na wasipeleke Kenya wanaonunua magari mapya mengi kuliko Tanzania? Sioni kama viwanda kama hivi ni endelevu kwa mazingira halisi ya nchi yetu. Kwa SADC viwanda vya Afrika Kusini vinawatosha makampuni hayo ya nje.
