Cost comparison SGR Kenya vs SGR Tanzania

Cost comparison SGR Kenya vs SGR Tanzania

Dream za matope, the day utaweza kupunguza current account deficit to the meaningful level, hapo ndio utaongea kuhusu vision 2030. At the moment you've to borrow to pay wages, borrow to service your debts, your borrowing to pay for your expensive luxury goods which Kenyan's have grown huge appetite.

What lazy way of thinking that Tanzania is waiting to see what Kenya is doing and then copy the idea. Kumbuka, Tanzania is a country with huge natural resources, huge population, huge land, huge land border and huge sea border, our priorities won't be the same to Kenya. If we are thinking developing our diamond industry or Tanzanite or gold nickel, what will Kenya be thinking about. Or if we chooses to divided land according to our population what will Kenya be doing. Our tourism, gas, uranium, iron ore, electrifying trains etc etc. ....will all those things been copied from Kenya ????? Think again, you can do better that that cheap shot.
"Tanzania is a country with huge natural resources, huge population, huge land, huge land border and huge sea border," but no brain! Kwikwikwikwi....

If Think about it for a sec(lightly)...... it's actually true!

The Inspector General (IG) of Police, Joseph Boinnet, has issued a stern warning to criminals suspected of vandalizing and stealing materials from the standard gauge railway (SGR) saying they will face the full wrath of the law if found.

Speaking after inspecting the Mtito Andei SGR Station in Kibwezi County, the IG lamented that the project is yet to be launched on June 1, 2017, but some people are already sabotaging the process by stealing its materials.

“We have received intelligence that some people are spoiling the SGR, their days are numbered and they will be brought to justice soon,” said the IG.

The IG now wants residents to cooperate with the police in helping to bring the criminals to justice, saying police cannot do this on their own.

“The SGR is a very important project that will help the country grow economically. The residents should know this and therefore help the police in catching the criminals,” the IG added.

Comments like this always makes me think Mathare hospital needs to reexamine their discharge policy ASAP.

Its nice to school a youngsters once in awhile, let me tell you ....Tanzania had a priority to build a nation while Kenya wanted to build a country (mash up all the tribes to come up with a country). We didn't want to misuse our resource without knowing that it will benefit each and everyone of us. Now is the time, we have a nation, we have a common language, we are less tribal, fighting corruption like never before. On the other hand, Kenya which started its journey high gear soon after independence, has little to show comparing to South Korea or Singapore or even little Hongkong. In fact, Kenya is building SGR today, the heath care system is as same as the one in Tanzania or Uganda, corruption hata hutaki tuanza kuiongea.
Mwanzi1 you can think better than this!!! Remember, no excuses, whether you were building a nation or whatever whether Kenya is tribal or not, you are way behind and always will

Awww, Kenya is far ahead compare to Tanzania, the lullaby all Kenya's would like to hear before there tucked in bed and fall asleep. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but Kenya is struggling with no rain and and dry wells. Tanzania is blessed with plenty of rain and produces food like crazy. If you want to know who is behind, think about food security.

And from that problem, we will innovate and survive and beat you on it again! Necessity is a mother of innovation

no need to panic, No country has a brain my friend...... but it can have all those you mentioned, do you catch my drift?!
Haha, but why rushing, all those things I've mentioned they will be there for 100's yrs to come. Let me ask Mr. More Brain, Kenya has land resource, is Kenyan land been distributed fairly?? Or is in the hands of the few who have muscle there way in and grab the every inch they possibly can. And that is just one example, you know the rest.

Nikisema wewe ni wa Madhare unakataa, here is the proof. If you have a country with no policy of distributing land to her people (fairly) you'll end up with county like Kenya were land is for a big wing. Charity Ngilu tried her best lakini wapi, powerful people pushed her on one side.

PS: in case you forgot, this is a thread about "the cost of SGR", but as we all know how good Kenyans are on shifting goal post
