Why argue when I can just save your comment and get back to you once Tanesco announce the construction of a new transmission line specifically for the SGR, just as it's written on your report. Not unless you want to tell me your ESIA report done by Yepi was more of a suggestion than an actual plan that they were going to implement.
Electrical wires laying for cartenary works has started while ATS stations r at an advanced stage!

Those are not Transmission lines, those are what I called over-head lines
In Tanzania things r done according to plans! If u know Kisarawe it is in Pwani region midway btn Dar n Moro meaning an already existing transmission line will be used to run the first electrical SGR in EA.

Aside the existing transmission line, a major power station is being built at Kisarawe!

Ubishi wa Wakenya wengi huchanganyika na wivu! Tushawaambia grid ipo na kuunganishwa kwake kwa SGR hakutachukua hata 50 km! Wanabisha! Kwa Tanzania mara nyingi panapopita reli pia communication cables na hata grid line huwa si mbali haviachani! Watu wamebisha! Naita ufala!

Unayapa yapa, si nikwambia tulia mda utafika..... Sasa unaniletea ma link mengi... Hata kuwe na transmission line ngapi kando kando... SGR yenu bado itahitaji a dedicated transmission line ! which is yet to be constructed. There is a possibility that those other transmission lines and substation along the way might be allowed to feed power into, in order to create redundancies of power sources, but the SGR will still need its own dedicated line running alongside the SGR for quality assurance purposes.

Even our own diesel powered SGR has its own dedicated transmission line (albeit small in voltage) that supplies continuous power to traffic controls systems, GSM-R station and SGR stations..... This guarantees quality of power and also makes sure power to SGR is on its own separate grid..... This is despite the fact that there are 3 high voltage transmission lines that run along Nairobi Mombasa stretch.

Peleka ujinga the thing is coming June 2020 the EMU will be operating btn Dar n Morogoro. End of story! BTW along SGR track sideways provisions for underground transmission line together with communication line r provided.

Usifikiri transmission line has to always be overhead! For SGR Tanzania only catenary line is overhead!

Huyu jamaa anaamini tumeingia chaka la mtungi wa chang'aa kama wao! Ngoja tumsadikishe kuwa SGR yetu itakuwa ya diesel! Maana ukimwambia COWI wame-design Yapi Merkezi and Mota Engil wamejenga huku Korail wakiwa consultants roho itazidi kumuuma! 🤣 🤣

..uzuri wa project ya reli yeti ni kuwa kazi ya kudesign inaendlea wakati ujenzi ukiendelea nothing is cast on stone, vitu vinaweza kubadilika kutokana na hali na mazingira ya eneo husika...
 
hata kama tulikua hatuko 100% ready, hauwezi ukalinganisha na hio yenu ambayo bado hadi sasa watu wanajibizana kuhusu rail link ya Dar port to SGR marshaling yard.. kuna madaraja mengine nayo hamjaweka, hapo nimeona mnaongelea kuhusu rail over rail bridge ambayo hataa haijaanzwa kujengwa.....Rail link inafika kwa SGR passenger station, haifiki kwa Port.

Alafu kumbuka November ndo inaingia kesho kwahivyo bado miezi miwili ndo tukamilishe mwaka, so TRC ikisema reli itakamilika mid 2020 hio si miezi sita, ni miezi 6 + 2 = 8 months!!!! Alafu unajua vile serekali hua ikisema mid next year haimaanishi June, utarajie kuongeza miezi kadhaa baada ya June, Alafu uongeze na miezi miengine kadhaa ya kufanya testing ya umeme na treni za umeme kuhakikisha kila kitu kiko sawa kabla reli izunduliwe rasmi na kuanza kazi (commercial operations) kwahivyo just to be safe , Tarajia kupanda reli yenu ikielekea December 2020. Ama hata ikizidi January 2021!
