If its not a confusion what is it? UK pamoja na kusema wana robo ya raia wao waliochanjwa bado hawana uhakika na hiyo chanjo. Waziri mkuu amekubali kuchanjwa lakini amekataa kata kata kwamba familia yake wasipate chanjo. Je, kuna nini ndani ya pazia?

UK wamepoteza raia wengi pamoja na USA kuliko taifa lingine lolote duniani kwa percentage rate hadi hivi sasa.

William Lees-Jones, owner of pub group JW Lees, which has 1,250 staff, said: 'Ministers just don't understand that this is an industry that is on its knees. Even after the end of March there will be a huge number of businesses that fail.

'We've invested in the pubs to keep them safe, the vaccine will make a massive difference, and if pubs are not open then people will meet up illegally.'

Clive Watson, of City Pub Group, said: 'While we fully support the Government's efforts to get the virus under control, we must get to a stage, once the over-50s have been vaccinated, where we start to lift restrictions so people can once again meet for a drink or a meal with friends.'

Experts yesterday called on ministers to decide what an 'acceptable' number of infections would be so that Britain could move on from the pandemic.

Professor Angela McLean, chief scientific adviser at the Ministry of Defence, said they were 'crying out' for clarity.

And Sir John Bell, who advises the UK's vaccine taskforce, said people wanted their normal lives back and would not accept certain coronavirus restrictions after everyone has been vaccinated.

Mr Johnson will be presented with the latest data as soon as this evening and will chair a meeting of senior Cabinet ministers over the weekend to finalise the plans for Monday's launch of the roadmap out of the national lockdown.

Where did you find that information which says that Boris John doesn't his family to take the vaccine? His father was inoculated. Does he count as a member of his family?

Do you have the count from Tanzania?

In around 40 days from now the outbreak nature of the disease will, again, be in the past, according to my estimations.

Let's be wary of the false dichotomy: You either force people to take COVID vaccines or you are not serious about Coronavirus. What about we wait for the vaccines to be a little bit more reliable?

For now, the thing I would recommend to the authorities would be to roll-out massive campaigns of chemo-prophylaxis involving chloroquine and ivermectin medicines.

I hear you. But we might be in a situation in which the vaccine wouldn't provide a long lasting protection against the disease. Take for example the flu vaccine. Each year you have to go and get a new flu vaccine because the mutation of virus makes previous vaccines obsolete. Now, if the mutation characteristics of corona virus resemble those of flu, waiting might not be a good option. I think sometimes it is better to learn as you move along.

For me, I think the government should open its covid registry and start collecting data. The process won't help too much, but it can be used for making informed decisions such as knowing the hotspots, demographics, etc etc. For example, I see very health young people being nyungulized. This group of people has a robust immune system which work very well against covid. So what is the point of doing this? It is like prescribing a 50 years old woman birth control pills.

This is because of fear. Our government succeeded in removing fear from the populace. Other people think that is irresponsible. People are too stupid to make rational decisions -- the detractors imply -- without fear the people do not take precautions, they insinuate. So the detractors are busy trying to instill fear to the masses. That is why you see some young people wakipiga nyungu wakati ambapo wana kinga za kutosha.

UK na US wana takwimu katika sec and minutes. Utasemaje ''Taifa lolote duniani'' wakati Tanzania hakuna takwimu? Huwezi kulinganisha kitu na hewa.

Huwezi kupinga chanjo ya Corona kutoka Ulaya halafu ukakubali chanjo ya surua (measles), DPT, Polio etc kutoka Ulaya!!

Data zinasaidia kujua trend ya ugonjwa. Lakini pia zinatueleza ikiwa tunahitaji msaada na priority kama ilivyo kwa South Africa. Data ni muhimu sana

Kuhusu vaccine, serikali ingeruhusu mshirika binafsi yaingize na watu wapewe uhuru wa kuchagua.

Wale wanodhani wana immunity waache, wale wanaohitaji wapate fursa.

Haiwezekani kununu vaccine kwa watu binafsi mmoja mmoja, hivyo basi kwavile kuna watu hawataki, wengine wanatumia nyungu basi wanaoamini vaccine wapewe fursa hiyo.

Wanohitaji watanunua lakini fursa ya kupatikana iwepo.

I share your personal strategies and I have tried to detach myself from traditional media outlets and the news from citizen media outlets such as twitter, WhatsaApp etc. I think the media outlets haven't helped the situation as every outlet now is looking for flash news to the point that effective information which could have helped the masses in this precarious period is buried under the garbage.

For example last week a video clip of JKT personnel circulated on WhatsApp. It shows the solders inhale steam in batches in a small specialized cabin. To me it was ridiculous for the following reasons. First of all, the solders in the picture were very young and super active. So inhaling the stream shouldn't be in their arsenal because they aren't in the risk category. Second, they are fairly educated people because they can't let you join the military if you don't have four form level education with some credits. Therefore, it isn't difficult for them to learn what is effective and what isn't, given the opportunity. Third, they live in a controlled environment with military discipline. So, it is easier in their environment to institute and control best practices that protect people. Four, they are secured as they know when their next meals will be and where they will sleep.

After seeing that, I felt that something is missing there. Those young solders should haven't gone through that process. For, inhaling stream is a therapy to help open up your respiratory system. But it can't beat the immune of young and active people.
