Mfumo uliopo unafavour chama kimoja tu.

Sema anao gombea nao hawana cv ilitoshiba. Ila huyo mbibi

Ndio hiyohiyo inakuongozea bunge
Kweli Wewe ni adui wa Tulia wa kutokea nyumbani[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

MATHAYO 10:36

"na adui za mtu ni wale wa nyumbani mwake."

Muhali kupitia bunge...amepuuzia kujadili ufisadi hivi

IPU prepares to elect a new President during its 147th Assembly in Luanda

A historical review of IPU Presidents reveals that most of them have been active MPs in their home countries. The President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union plays a crucial role in overseeing the organization’s activities and functions.

Their responsibilities include presiding over meetings, representing the IPU at international events, and fostering cooperation among member parliaments. Furthermore, they are instrumental in promoting dialogue and collaboration among parliamentarians worldwide, aligning with the IPU’s mission of advancing democracy, peace, and sustainable development.

EARLIER THIS YEAR 2023
Ms.Tulia Ackson’s lobbying efforts, which failed in Somalia, were also attempted in Malawi. Ms. Catherine Gotani Hara, the Speaker of Malawi, faces a notable challenge on the horizon.

South Africa has already stated its intention to cast its vote in favor of Tanzania. This preference for Tanzania presents a unique consideration, given that Malawi is typically regarded as a Southeast African nation. This particular obstacle is one that Malawi currently faces.

The Speaker of Tanzania’s parliament has urged the President of Malawi to either halt or exert pressure to withdraw Ms. Catherine Gotani Hara’s candidacy. However, the President did not accept this proposal.

IPU and General Public Respond

The government’s move drew significant attention. Most see it as eroding the autonomy of individual international election candidates. In response, the IPU rejected the Speaker’s letter. They stated that only Ms. Hagi could withdraw her candidacy.

Shifting Political Allegiances Explored

Sources tell The Somali Digest that the Federal Government of Somalia supports a Tanzanian as an IPU candidate. Analysts speculate that this could secure Tanzanian backing for Somalia in the East African Community (EAC).

Public Sentiment Leans Toward Betrayal

Betrayal is the dominant feeling among Somalis. Many see the government’s actions as prioritizing geopolitics over national interests. Consequently, this overshadows the initial optimism surrounding Ms. Hagi’s candidacy.

The government’s withdrawal raises ethical questions. Specifically, it puts a spotlight on Somalia’s commitment to democratic principles. Additionally, it opens up a discourse on the ethics of sidelining a national representative for geopolitical gains.

Implications Extend Beyond Single IPU Candidate

Ms. Hagi’s candidacy was symbolically significant. It reflected national pride, regional aspirations, and global principles. As a result, these events cast uncertainty over Somalia’s political future and its standing in international relations.

Punguza unafiki ni lini wapinzani walitaka kuonewa huruma?. Mfumo uliopo unafavour chama kimoja tu.

Hivi mnategemea chama tawala kiwasaidie ili muweze kuwatoa madarakani🤣🤣

Halafu mnajitetea hivyo kila uchaguzi wala hamuwazi mbingu mbadala🤔 kuweni serious kidogo basi😂😂😂😂😂

Mbona wagombea wote ni wanawake? naomba kuelimishwa kidogo kwenye hili tafadhali.
