For example would you say NMB is a public company just because we own 35% of it's shares? It is getting a whopping profit of 900 Billion and still maintaining the interest rate of 21 % on its loan. Why not reduce it to 12? We should only pay the debt that is truly public, the one taken to construct infrastructures which we are all using.Are private companies not part of public ?

They employee but with caveats, they can employee but also fire at will unlike the public one. Also they offer their product not freely but for profit. In government facilities such as schools, roads police services and other infrastructures they are offered for free. This can not be said the same for private education facilities or roads built by private funds. They charge a toll to use the roads. This is unlike the public one.
