I heard even the State house of Kenyan president is in danger, any time it can collapse into dust50 percentum of buildings in Nairobi are not fit for human habitation. They are condemned buildings but still people are dwelling in those buildings. The government need to intervien with this.

Wewe acha kuongea upumbavu. Badala ya kufikiria on how to effect the experts report on the state of buildings fabrics across Nairobi ili watu wasiendelee kufa. Do you know the radius of Dar CBD au unaongea tu.
Jana was watching BBC couldn't imagine what came to my eyes. Several neighbourhoods comprise condemned multistorey buildings. Those substandard buildings are full of tenants. One lady was crying after lossing her two children out of six. Very sad and pity. I'm worrying if there is a building quality control unit in place. I saw yesterday is, such kind of carnage won't stop until those substandard delapilated buildings are pulled down.
Kanikera sana huyu jamaa.Huyo jamaa Anachuki zake
Hapendi ukweli
I would happily discuss building standards all day with serious concerned people who are genuinely discussing about issues... But not with these blood suckers who "come alive" only after Kenyans die. Who would hate a person so much that they celebrate when tragedy happens. We are rivals in this forum but when tragedy happens to Tanzanians, Kenyans(99% of them) will put side their differences and genuinely comfort their neighbour. And get real in their discussions.Wewe acha kuongea upumbavu. Badala ya kufikiria on how to effect the experts report on the state of buildings fabrics across Nairobi ili watu wasiendelee kufa. Kanikera sana huyu jamaa.
Yaani jana nilivyoona zile neighborhoods na maghorofa yalivyohatarishi... nikasema Mungu wangu... nani ataokoa wale raia wanyonge ambao wamepangisha kwenye hayo majengo.
Angalia BBC reporter's clip
Hiyo settlement is dangerous.
Tatizo lako Povu povu kubwaI would happily discuss building standards all day with serious concerned people who are genuinely discussing about issues... And get real in their discussions.
Lakini nikiangalia comment za Watanzania hapa, wengi wao wanasherehekea alafu wanajifanya kana kwamba they are good in engineering and archtecture... And thats why I am simply saying in the larger residential parts of Dar, most residential areas dont have storey buildings, they are just iron roof houses on the ground floor, this might be because Dar is big geographically, so lots of space, unlike Nairobi which is small, thus the need for multiple storey buildings, and this is where the challenge starts. You will notice that most of the condemned buildings in Nairobi are in poor neighborhood. So Dar not having collapsing buildings is not because of good engineers but because there are no residential buildings to fall in the first place... Thats why you will never hear of buildings collapsing In Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, because also in these places, theyre are no buildings to fall, most residential buildings in low class neighbouhoods are just on the floor with no storeys. They are built using very basic architecture.
pathetic kabisa, thats is what led me to say what i said..... In case you don't understandard what I am trying to say, let me give you another example,
Imagin Kenyans trying to suggest to South Africans and their electricians and engineers how to fix their frequent power outages in the Capital, just because Kenyans don't experience it as much as the SA'ns do. When in reality Kenya (With less than 3000MW) can't even begin to comprehend what managing South Africas (with 45, 000MW) power is... Just because we don't face as much lackouts as they do doesnt mean we are the experts at managing our own, We are just not yet at that level yet, if they were to hand over what they have to us, we would be soo overwhelmed we would probably end up blowing everything up
