Historia ya Uhuru isimuliwavyo na Mohammed Said yakosolewa



Hili ni swali zuri sana; kwa kweli siyo changamoto kama unavyoiona na ni changamoto ambayo naamini itakuja kujibiwa na Waislamu wengine. Toka mwanzo wa historia yetu yamekuwepo makundi mbalimbali ya kisiasa. Hata kwenye suala la dini ni hivyo hivyo. Kitu ambacho wengi tumefanikiwa katika mjadala huu ni kuonesha kuwa:

a. Ulichoandika katika kitabu hiki siyo historia bali ni simulizi tu ambalo halina ushahidi wa historia zaidi ya hisia.
b. Unatumia dini kuangalia historia na kuweka tafsiri ya kidini kwa kutumia historia na kudai "wazee" wako si kwa sababu ni wazee wa historia yetu bali ni kwa sababu ya kuwa unakubaliana nao kuwa ni dini moja.
c. Wapo watu ambao nina uhakika nao wazee wao walikuwa ni Waislamu na walikuwa upande mwingine kabisa wa kina Takadir na kina Sheikh Amir.

Hivyo watakuja Watanzania ambao wataiokoa historia yetu kutoka mikononi mwa mtazamo wa kidini na kuiweka mahala pake hasa. Wale ambao watawaunganisha wazee wetu katika umoja wao na uzalendo wao siyo kwa dini zao bali kwa Utanganyika na Utanzania wao. Litakapotokea hilo kitabu chako kitabakia kama simulizi la majaribio tu na mapungufu yake yatawekwa bayana. Ninatumaini hili litatokea mapema zaidi.

In recent years historians of nationalism, like historians of science, have been turning to the stories of the losers. Kitabu kinachozungumziwa hapa ni Life and Times of Abdulwahid Sykes...... ambacho wasomi wa JF mnasema ni simulizi, takataka blah blah. hamna lenu moja nimewaambie fanyeni na nyie publication tuzisome na sio kuleta ukosoaji usio na kichwa wala miguu.

Tangu 2006 tuhuma zote zinaishia katika cloud of speculation and allegation zisizo na msingi. Hebu taja basi JK ana nini maana sizijui kabisa. JK simtetei na sifurahishwi na namna anavyowashughulikia mafisadi kwani amekuwa mwoga katika kuwashughulikia mafisadi ila namtetea kama nyie mnaleta tuhuma kwasababu ya dini yake hapo siwaachi nakula na nyie sahani moja.
 

Serikali hii ambayo inaongozwa na kanisa ambamo ndani yake kuna kina Shein, Bilal, Mwema, Othman na Othman, Shimbo, Kikwete, Mwinyi? Au unamaana Waislamu walioko madarakani watambue kuwa wanawadhulumu Waislamu wenzao? Itakuwaje kama hawataona hilo tatizo? Je, huoni labda ipo haja ya kuangalia nje ya serikali hii kuona watu ambao wanaliona hilo tatizo ambao wako tayari kutengeneza sera ambazo zitahakikisha kuwa hakuna Mtanzania anayefanywa duni katika taifa lake awe Muislamu, Mkristu au Mpagani?

Unafikiri jibu ni lazme litolewe na serikali hii?

Nikuulize maswali kidogo ya kupeleka mjadala huu juu zaidi

- je Waislamu wanaweza kutofautiana na hata kupingana kwa misingi ya maslahi ya kisiasa; kwamba si lazima wote wawe na mtazamo mmoja?
- Je Waislamu wanapotofautiana kwa misingi ya kisiasa ni lazima kwa kiasi fulani kushuku Uislamu wao?

Nimeuliza hili hasa kwa msingi wa yaliyotokea Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, Misri, Iran, Syria n.k nchi ambazo zina Waislamu wengi sana. Katika nchi hizo watawala wote ni Waislamu na asilimia kubwa ya wananchi wake ni Waislamu lakini ni kana kwamba Uislamu hauwaunganishi au hauwi sababu ya wao kuwa wamoja? Je hili laweza kuwa ndilo linatokea Tanzania kwamba Waislamu toka mwanzo wa harakati za Uhuru hawajawahi kuwa wamoja na haiwezekani kuwa wamoja kwa kadiri ya kwamba maslahi yao mbalimbali ya kiraia na ya kisiasa yanakinzana?

Chukulia mfano jinsi kundi la Waislamu lilivyowapinga kina Mtemvu na Takadir mwaka 1958. Kwanini kulikuwepo tayari na tofauti miongoni mwa Waislamu kwa misingi ya maslahi ya kisiasa hata kabla ya Nyerere kuingia TANU?

Mdondoaji - umesema jambo kubwa sana. Miye binafsi - na nimelisema hili huko nyuma - Mchango wa Bw. Said katika kuandika historia "yetu" ni mkubwa sana kuliko hata anavyojua. Ni kweli kuna mapungufu mengi - na mengine naweza kusema ni makubwa sana - katika kitabu chake lakini all in all ni kitabu ambacho binafsi ningependa kisomwe na watu wengi zaidi lakini kisomwe kwa kutumia uwezo wa kuhoji na umakini wa kutambua ni wakati gani kinachosemwa ni historia na wakati gani ni hisia na hasa kuelewa mapema kabisa the underlying theme ya kitabu chenyewe - kuonesha kuwa Nyerere hakuwa na mchango wa kipekee katika historia ya Uhuru kulinganisha na waasisi wengine wa Taifa letu.

Ninakuhakikishia baadhi ya matatizo mengi ambayo tunayazungumza tatizo lake ni CCM na hili mimi na Said tunakubaliana sana. Tofauti ni kuwa siamini kama CCM ina interests wala uwezo wa kushughulikia matatizo hayo ya kihistoria wakati yeye anaamini kuwa serikali hii hii inaweza kushughulikia matatizo hayo. Sijui uko upande gani katika hilo lakini sentensi yako hapo is telling.
 

But what makes you think CCM ni tatizo? Nini source ya CCM kuwa tatizo? Hili ndio swali la msingi tujiulize na ndio nilijiuliza wakati nasoma kitabu cha Sheikh Mohamed Said. Kwa bahati mbaya nilikisoma nikiwa nje ya nchi nikakiacha huko kwani ulikuwa ukionekana nacho Dar hatari tupu. Sijui siku hizi hali ikoje ila nimekusudia kukinunua nikiweke katika maktaba yangu nitakisoma tena mbeleni .

Hapa nadhani unapotoka, unapoanza kuhusisha wizi, ufisadi na dini. Ina maana uko tayari hata kutetea ufisadi ili mradi aliyefanya hivyo ni mtu wa dini yako?. This is another proof kwamba unaweka masula yote katika mtizamo wa kidini, mwizi yes, dini gani? Mwanasayansi, ok dini gani? Kiongozi well, dini gani?

Kwako wewe kitu kizuri na mambo mazuri ndani ya Tanzania shurti ijulikane imetoka kwa mtu wa dini gani kabla ya compliments, very sick but is the conclusion one can easily draw kutokana na ujadili wako wa hoja. And yet bado unaamini kabisa kwamba historia uliyoandika ni fair and balanced???? Btw nimekuuliza na nauliza tena kwa mara ya tatu profile hii hapa chini ni ya kwako? Mbona hutaki kujibu hili swali?

corruption, greed, intoxication of power, impunity, abuse of power, indignity, I could go on and on.. hata hivyo labda utasema tatizo ni "kanisa"! Ni jibu zuri kihisia lakini halielezei ukweli kwani matatizo ambayo tunayaona Tanzania leo hii yanatokea Jordan (Waarabu wa Jordani na wale wa Palestina); tunaliona Misri (Waislamu walioko madarakani dhidi ya wale ambao hawako madarakani), tunaliona Syria (Waislamu Vs Waislamu) na kote huko utaona kuwa hao kule hawawezikulalamikia "kanisa"! Wanalielewa tatizo lao ni mfumo wa utawala. Ndio maana utaona nchi hata za Kikatoliki (Brazil, Chile, Ufilipino) zinajikuta na matatizo yale yale ya kimfumo wa utawala!

Ni sisi Tanzania tu tunataka kuaminishwa tatizo ni "kanisa" na wapo wanaokubali hivyo. Nakuhakikishia Bw. Said akivuka tu mstari wa kuangalia "kidini" na kuona ni tatizo la ufisadi kama mfumo utashangaa ni jinsi gani kila kitu kitamake sense. Itaelezea umaskini siyo wa Waislamu tu bali hata wa jamii nyingi za jadi, utaelezea umaskini na uduni wa maisha katika Jiji letu kuu la Dar, utaelezea ni kwanini wapo Wakristu wengi tu ambao wanaona kabisa mfumo uliopo hauwanufaishi wao kama raia wa Tanzania na katika hilo wako sawa kabisa na Waislamu na Wasioamini dini hizi mbili.

Tatizo lililopo ni kutoka huko kwenye kuangalia "dini" na kuangalia mfumo wetu ulivyoharibiwa na ufisadi. Lakini huko ni kugumu kwa sababu hata wewe unaamini kabisa "wakristu ni mafisadi zaidi" as if mafisadi wa hivyo wanafanya hivyo kwa sababu ni Wakristu. Nina uhakika hutaweza kukubali tukisema Waislamu ni mafisadi zaidi huko Misri, Syria au Libya kwa sababu watawala wengi wanaotuhumiwa ufisadi ni Waislamu! It doesn't make any sense but to some of you my friends it does and that in itself is a colossal tragedy of the first order.

Ndio maana Mwanakiji nikashauri Truth and reconciliation committee iwekwe ili wajadiliane mbele ya jamii ukweli ujulikane na uongo ufahamike. Its complicated Mwanakijiji udini upo na Kanisa lina maovu yake. Asiye muislamu ni ngumu kulifahamu au kulielewa kwani alikuwa analelewa na mfumo huo ndani na hivyo ngumu kuyaona nje ya box. But kwa waislamu ubaguzi unaendelea mpaka leo na kiasi imekuwa sasa hivi Tanzania ni kawaida kuwa wanaonekana ni SECOND CLASS CITIZEN. Committee kama hizi huchapisha matokeo yake wananchi wakayajua tukayazika haya mambo chini na kuendelea mbele. Kuyanyamazia kimya mwanakijiji ndio kunazalisha plenty of conspiracy theory to both muslims and christians na matokeo ndio kama Nigeria sasa hakukaliki kwasababu ya tension between muslims and christians.
