Only Biden was just a bit worse off.
Donald J. Trump has praised Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban, for his leadership of Turkey, and confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi.
President Biden has named dead former European leaders when describing his contemporary peers, and referred to Egypt as Mexico.
Trump will be more exposed against a much younger candidate.
I’m expecting plenty of pol shifting on this issue.
Trump is now the oldest in history.

Some Democrats don’t want a coronation. They want a fair and democratic process to select the best candidate.

Harris could be the first Black woman and first Asian American to lead the ticket of a major political party. Another candidate could still step forward to challenge Harris. But I doubt it.
But if the pledged delegates rally around Harris and vote in the first ballot at the convention for her to become the nominee, the nomination fight will quickly be over.
It’s unclear if anyone will come forward to challenge her. Many of them already pledge to support her…
She has Bidens campaign funds. without her they would need to start over collecting donations.

Does Chicago has a curse? May be. I can see the big players rallying behind Kamala. To win she need either Bashear or Shapiro. Those are at least moderates who can take Trump and Vance heads on.
